I am a permanent staff with a London borough (local government council) in central London as a professional in children services and the opportunities I have, I can never get it in Nigeria, in the next 20 years.

US is far better than that shithole of UK. You don't keep cash, you'll be feeding well and doing things but zero savings. All your monies are used up by the UK system. Many people are doing UK then 1-3 years move to Canada, then 1-3 years move to USA the utmost Baba. There taxes are far lower, and there are a lot more earning opportunities.

I see UK people complain no money but I hardly see USA people complain no money. Unless the Naija man in USA does not have legit papers to stay or to work.

I want to emigrate to Canada by upper year, then from there in two years I'll be at the United States.

nigeria wey we no Dey pay bill na life be this.for example.i build my house on BandA area.my light bill is about 200k monthly I don’t hesitate to pay it cos the light na die.people will pay if they services.if I no live well I carry all the money save if I die what sense does it make.

I don’t know where people get the notion that tax takes all your money. I pay 20% of remaining balance of my salary after they have set aside 12,500 tax allowance. We were able to raise my wife’s school and have invited our mums three times and paid for their flights since we got to the uk three years ago.

My wife had traveled for holiday and God has tremendously blessed us. We have been able to help lots of people back home. With God’s blessing, hard and honest work, and unity between the husband and wife, the sky is your limit in the Uk. Two of my friends have bought their houses with a deposit of 30m naira deposit. How many people can raise that in Nigeria within two years?

The chances u graduate then get 2 years working visa. Then fight get certificate of sponsorship..... If all this didn't click right then ur 40m might not be gotten back.

Those that went to UK in 2022 didn't spend up to 5m.i know guys that spent 1.5m take enter uk 2021 but today school don increase fees, government don add their cost of living, visa and health insurance. And lastly naira dob devalue.

If the people are not complaining and they are not returning to Nigeria, what is her problem? By the way, why has she spent two months in the UK? In the two months, did she hear anything like “up NEPA”? Did her hear anything about insecurity? Did she turn on the taps and there was no water? Does she not move around freely and without fear, day and night? Has she not been eating decent food at cheap prices? If she needs drugs, is she not guaranteed to get original drugs?

By the way, who says Americans fare better? Wherever you find yourself in the world, you must work to earn your living. There are destitutes everywhere. There are poor and homeless people everywhere. By the way, what does she do for a living to start with?

Uk wasn't always like that, they were one of the first countries to industrialize, they were into manufacturing too.

this one no be by emotion boss.a broke guy in UK that need cash to pay accomodation monthly, and keep giving excuse every month. Nigeria isn't in good shape no doubt. But reason am if am to pay all these bills monthly ( accomodations, water, electricity, gas etc ) u can imagine the level of frustration I would hv unlike in Nigeria where u pay house rent once in a year and those nepa bills, water bill most Nigerians sort it out via "back door" . Like one guy was advising when that 30M in Nigeria vs 5k Dollars abroad discussion came up few days ago. Some people may be in Nigeria and will enjoying his life and same guy will rush to UK selling all his
properties in Nigeria and end up on monthly struggles there with bills. Where as there are other people struggling in Nigeria then decide to Japa and will start enjoying life there. So it's different ball game for different people so one need to think it smartly before making such life changing decisions.

This people don't even have money for international passport, they are just busy trying to console their selves. The truth is that this uk will shape your life and make you have value for your money. A country of milk and honey according to one of my friend in Birmingham city. Uk people don't waste money anyhow because we don't do fraud here, every pounds are earned. Until police swoop on you in Nigeria for just walking on the road, or you are kidnapped or you have medical emergency, then you can come back to this discussion

na why my argument dey open. Police issues are there too u remember the popular song Dialo Dialo, it's about police brutality in foreign lands against blacks. Even the recent one those police officer knelt down on that guy neck till they suffocated him to death. The kinds of citizens we got in Nigeria are the one determining the quality of leadership in the country.u can't have a country where plenty of the youth are looking up to the criminals political class to ever prosper. Just few days ago sixteen years old guy connived with his friends to dupe his father of twenty million naira.thank God the man was smart enough, nineteen million had been recovered. those young chaps already use one million recklessly to enjoy themselves.My point is until the political class, citizens team together to make Nigeria great, we will everly continue to hv alot to say how bad the system is.

No guardian who gives me the dos and donts to become successful in less than 10 years. While in Nigeria here i know the system, just don't have money to fully enjoy the Nigerian system.
