The issue with her is that UK is a conservative society, and even though 5% of the population is a millionaire, no one throws money around. No one throws thousands of pounds in Dorime. They just buy houses, drive nice cars, and go on vacation. All those shenanigans don't exist here. U.K is a very good place, very sef. US is far better than that shithole of UK. You don't keep cash, you'll be feeding well and doing things but zero savings. All your monies are used up by the UK system. Many people are doing UK then 1-3 years move to Canada, then 1-3 years move to USA the utmost Baba. There taxes are far lower, and there are a lot more earning opportunities.

I see UK people complain no money but I hardly see USA people complain no money. Unless the Naija man in USA does not have legit papers to stay or to work.

I want to emigrate to Canada by upper year, then from there in two years I'll be at the United States.

These are the people that has never been to the airport but they will tell you more about a country than those living in that country. This person complaining about people been poor in UK is probably looking for people that will be spending on her as they do in Nigeria. No one spend hard earned money any how. Most people in Nigeria that spends money any how are those that did not work for it. These are the people that will spending all their earnings in their active years and become burnden in their old age. In the developed work when people make money, majority think of making it a generational wealth not how to spend it on frivolous stuff. My cousin in UK monthly support to people in Nigeria is 2 to 3 times what most of these people earn in a month.

Look my friend, I equally feel scared. Travelling to an unknown land in my mid 30s by then, knowing nobody, knowing no system.

No guardian who gives me the dos and donts to become successful in less than 10 years. While in Nigeria here i know the system, just don't have money to fully enjoy the Nigerian system.

In abroad you have to learn what works and what doesn't. And I don't want to learn them after years of failed experience. And no one will be there to issue me a manual on how to become successful in 3 years in the USA, or something.

I'm scared of leaving and failing in the very reason why i leave.

I want to emigrate to Canada by upper year, then in 2 years, get my passport or permanent residency then emigrate to USA with my Canadian Permanent Residency or passport after 1.5 years in Canada.

I prefer USA to Canada because I'm a Pharmacist and there are better prospects in USA than Canada.

I'll go to Canada first, do menial jobs for 1.5 years then get PR or citizenship and go to USA from Canada in 2 years.

In USA I'll write my licensing exams and practise there that's my plan. In USA pharmacists earn over 100k dollars a year.

The taxation system in UK is tough. They will milk you dry through taxation. But think of it... they is no natural resource in the country. So they rely heavily on taxes for their economy.

ok that's what they say. Hard to believe though. Must be classified as millionaires because they had a house passed on from generations that was 50 thousand pounds in 1980 but now worth 1 million pounds. That's how most of them are classified as millionaires by these appreciated assets. But cash wise ? They are all broke. I have a friend like that, his mum has been in the UK since forever. The council flat they gave her back then which was worth 30 thousand pounds she sold it recently for half a million pounds. But she was not a rich woman by any stretch of the imagination until she sold that flat. She tried to relocate to naija but she ran back to UK. All her family members begin smell her pounds 😅😅😅😅

yes I get u now.in the aspect no place like home.but no be everybody go fit go village house sha.i rather die in the city.na that una Uk na.in 5yrs u can become a Canadian.mine took 6yrs + cos I was always travelling.
