As tensions within the Peoples Democratic Party escalate, former National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, has criticised the Acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, over his comments directed at the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba.

Ologbondiyan condemned Damagum’s action as unacceptable and a direct challenge to the authority of both the National Executive Committee and the National Working Committee, as well as an insult to the sensibilities of party members.

Once Nigeria’s dominant political party, the PDP has continued to grapple with internal crises since its defeat in 2015, which has been marked by leadership wrangling, defections, and unresolved congress disputes across key zones.

PDP is not a political party anymore, they can't win election nowadays, LP is even better than them, well Sha I don't blame them Nigeria happened to them

It's obvious PDP and LP are under a spell and the curse go likely follow them go ADA abi na ADAOBI.

INEC should not bother conducting Presidential elections in 2027. Tinubu should be sworn in automatically.

Very disgraceful for a so called opposition party. Was that his Tinubu ran the opposition for 16 years of PDP misrule?

Unfortunately for constitutional sake, INEC is going to waste billions of Naira to conduct a formality Presidential election.

Seems almost everyone that matters in PDP had benefited from Wike's largesse when he was governor that they are all afraid to deal with him for his anti party activities. This is what happens when you let a devil pay your bill

Damagun has been caged by Wike because of stomach infrastructure now he is so confused.

PDP is just finding it hard to swallow the bitter pill that they lost to Wike's team. Anyanwu remains their National Secretary. Bala Mohammed and his cohort are out of their depth.

INEC should not meddle or influence PDP or any party's internal affairs: the choice of the National Secretary is an internal affair.

Whatever correspondence the party or INEC share with each other, on respect of internal politics, is for information and concurrence with their statutes, memorandum and article of association or constitution.

PDP party have never face such challenge before now just less than 12years they failed as opposition,

I see this man considering defecting to another party soon
