I’ll Actualise All My Campaign Promises – Tinubu by adenigga(op): 2:55am On Jun 26, 2025
President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday assured the government and people of Nasarawa State, and Nigerians in general, that his administration is committed to fulfilling all the promises made under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The president also pledged continued support for Nasarawa State in developmental projects, particularly in the solid minerals and agricultural sectors.

The Nigerian leader made the pledge during a visit to the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad, at his palace.

He praised Governor Abdullahi Sule, stating that his prudent deployment of resources has earned the trust of both the Federal Government and investors.

While at the Emir of Lafia’s palace, Tinubu expressed his delight at returning to Nasarawa, a development he noted confirmed what the Emir had told him during the 2023 campaigns: that he would return as President of Nigeria.

“Thank you. You are a highly far-sighted individual, a committed Nigerian of high integrity and jurisprudence,” he said.

He described Nasarawa State as peaceful, stable, and steadily progressing, acknowledging that credit must be given to Governor Sule and the Council of Traditional Rulers.

He vowed, saying he would work harder to actualise all the promises of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“All I have decided is to ensure a change for the future and the best,” he added.

He also emphasised that the Renewed Hope Agenda is aimed at repositioning the economy to benefit young Nigerians and future generations.

Not compulsory. Ww know campaign promises are just to canvass for votes and most aren't realistic. N1 can't go back to $1. Just address the major ones that will make life worth living for the common man. Economy, Security, Light, will go a long way

Good. This is what Nigerians expect but the words should be backed with concrete actions. It's too early to have swung into campaign mode just two years after, commissioning local government-level projects named after yourself when Nigerians are still smarting from the pains of the "reforms".

May God give you the strength to succeed. Because if you do, then Nigerians are all the better for it. Nobody with good intentions gains anything from hoping for his own president to fail.

“I salute the prudent management of resources, commitment of value given by the Governor of our dear state. I therefore commission this project,” Tinubu said.
