pu7pl3:just the same way fans chant for Trick despite being a heel. We're back in the era of cool heels like it was with the NWO, heels who care about aura rather than doing truly despicable things. You need a kickass antihero babyface rather than bland ones to negate them as it was with Rock, Austin, Sting and Goldberg. |

ValeeLove:5 match rule of PLE must reign (even though 3 matches at Night of Champions won't be title matches). They should have just called it King of the Ring. CORRECTION: 6 matches, 4 won't be championship matches WWE Championship: John Cena (c) vs. CM Punk King of the Ring Tournament Final: Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes Queen of the Ring Tournament Final: Asuka vs. Jade Cargill United States Championship: Jacob Fatu (c) vs. Solo Sikoa Street Fight: Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross |

[PwInsider] Chad Gable will undergo surgery in early July. Working two long matches at worlds collide and mitb same day greatly increases chances of injury. I'm surprised Stephanie Vaquer who worked 4 matches that week isn't injured. Jacy Jayne will also have two matches same day with Great American Bash and Evolution. TKO booking schedule is a mess. |

samistry:look at AEW when they do shows with other companies, they focus on that. WWE won't, they'd do that and still do another show for themselves. |
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by samistry(m): 8:48am On Jun 26, 2025 |
ValeeLove:How many shows has wwe done with other companies? This PPV pileup happens anytime there's an NXT PPV. I'd rather NXT has it own thing that weekend than lumped up with a main roster PPV. 3-4 hours of watching wrestling in a day is much for me. |
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by samistry(m): 8:50am On Jun 26, 2025 |
ValeeLove:Right PPV name, Wrong match stipulations. There was king of the Ring last year. Don't know why they aren't going by that this year. |

This has to be one of the worse referees I've seen on NXT. You're not a wrestler, you cannot go into business for yourself with that frizzly hairstyle. Eyes should be on the wrestlers not you.

| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by ValeeLove(m): 12:56pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
samistry:so the wrestlers are allowed to have frizzly hairstyles but the refs aren't. Bias much? |

ValeeLove:Who pays money to come look at referees? Did you ever see me criticising Jessica Carr or Aubrey Edwards? I've also called out this particular ref before for fumbling at her job. https://x.com/SKWrestling_/status/1909781077356355619

ValeeLove:Then why do you come and ask questions about these shows that you don't even follow? Do you even watch wrestling? |
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by CoolUsername: 1:32pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
samistry:I completely disagree with this. It's just hair. |
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by samistry(m): 1:37pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
CoolUsername:Referees are seen but not 'seen'. There's a reason why refs are usually shorter than wrestlers. They aren't supposed to standout and draw eyes from the talents in the ring. She fit go do announcer work🤷 |

samistry:I don't know about her performance. No one came to see the wrestlers' hairdo either, they came to see their performances. I've been saying this for years. |
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by samistry(m): 4:05pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
ValeeLove:You still don't get that looks are a part of this business. If Na by performance alone, we'd have many Kevin Owens and Eddie Kingston body type performers. |

@valeelove are they trying to get Statlander in the deathriders? She never recover from the damage her previous heel turn with Stokley Hathaway did to her. |

We've footballers with all sorts of hairstyle. I've also seen UFC male fighters and boxers with braided hairstyles but how many referees have you guys seen with bleached blonde hair and pink highlights in these sports?
|
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by ValeeLove(m): 5:05pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
samistry:at least she's on TV. I don't know why she's just not in a match regularly. |
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by ValeeLove(m): 5:07pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
samistry:remember the word "frizzly", that's not O'Malley's. We haven't seen, doesn't mean we won't, it's just preference. The fighters braid, refs braid. |
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by ValeeLove(m): 5:08pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
samistry:looks are nada. Performance is key. That thing is what Vince sold y'all and we had Warrior and Goldberg on top for years. But it's like we love being deceived, I don't know. |
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by samistry(m): 5:20pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
ValeeLove:. You still no answer my question. Why are other female referees like Aubrey and Jessica Carr not dying their hair bleach blonde with frizzly style and pink highlights. I pointed out soccer then used O'Malley's to show the talents are the attraction not the referee but you'd rather stay contrarian. Abi the referee dey dye hair pink? |

ValeeLove:Goldberg and Warrior had physical charisma. Even till today casual folks know em. Main thing is looks and performance go hand in hand in wrestling. Why Danielson no leave potbelly if Na performance. Adam Cole was critiqued for his skinny look in AEW. The guy tried to add some weight. I'm not saying go all roided out, If Na by only looks Nathan Jones, Ezekiel Jackson, Rob Terry for last na. At the end of the day you're on TV and not an average bloke from the streets. Looks matter. These wrestlers also have makeup and hairstylist even the men. When we tell you to broaden your view on things, you think it's a personal attack. |

samistry:Stephanie's workout routine and her style of wrestling greatly reduces her injury risks. She is very methodical and intentional about taking care of herself. |
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by samistry(m): 5:37pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
pu7pl3:You think Gable doesn't take care of himself? How many injuries has he had since his debut in 2016 on main roster? Few I think. The guy deserved a break after that match with Vikingo. You don't put him in another match later that night. Stephanie wrestles the lucha style which still has some risks. Na jumping springboard move take out Zoey Stark. |
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by samistry(m): 5:56pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
@valeelove before you call me wwe fanboy. This was TNA X-division made up of mostly smaller guys back then. See how in shape most of them are? Why all of them no leave potbelly or get skinny fat if looks don't matter? All of them for dey like sharkboy Na. Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens (even he dropped some weight), Eddie Kingston are all exceptions and not the norm.

samistry:and I said, if the refs can braid their hair, they can as well dye it. You're asking me why they don't personally do it, how many fighters even dye their hair? It's a tiny minority. I'm saying if you go to one small, backyard MMA establishment you'll probably see a ref with tinted hair, but maybe not on the big screens because it's a tiny minority and it's also dependent on personal preference. |
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by ValeeLove(m): 8:11pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
samistry:art is supposed to emulate life and if we look at the UFC for instance, not all their fighters look like a million bucks, some have pot belly like DC. That's it. Just be fit. Be healthy, I don't care about superficiality. |
| Re: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by ValeeLove(m): 8:14pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
samistry:they will be okay. Look at Mark Briscoe (his promo with MJF last night was gold) he looks awful, but when you see him perform, he's better than half of that roster, it's not even close. The crowd love him. His matches prove him. I rest my case. |
