Words and synonyms

1. Tinubu - Tax
2. Tinubu - Tax
3. Tinubu - Tax again.

Meanwhile, I've gone through the bills and there are interesting stuff there especially pertaining to SMEs. Kudos to the president on that but it will affect big companies a lot especially with cases of multiple taxation
Do you really understand what have read? Please tell me, how it will affect big companies ( as u called it) with regards to multiple taxation.

Company tax at 25% is quite high.

The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria have recommended it be reduced to 20%. I would suggest a max of 19%.

I have said it here before, the tax reform will only bring pain, agony and poverty to the common man. I was part of the training last year and I vowed never to work with them. Even the old women selling in front of their houses, food seller, mechanism, hawker on the express, everybody will all begin to pay tax. This will only increase the price of goods and services and thereby make the masses suffer. For those supporting may Tinubu governmenthappen to you and your family.

When we ask what do the masses been taxed stand to gain. They mentioned quality health care, road lights etc. The simple question is, if those in working for the government, don't av access to these, is it those paying menial amount will? The answer is NO
The reforms will do exactly opposite to the category of Nigerians you mentioned. They were not really paying taxes before and the bills officially exempts them now. Anyone earning less than N1m a year(where those folks will likely be) has no tax to pay. If you are earning less N1.7m per month, you wont experience any tax increase. Its only those above that will experience additional tax. And government said they are few. Which is sad when you consider that 1.7m is just $1k.

This is a careless comment from you. A lot of you guys just comment because of your hate for Tinubu.

As at now, even if you earn 30k per month, you will pay tax, but after Tinubu sign this bill, Nigerians that are not earning up to 1 million per annum won't be paying tax

The days when businesses pay excessive taxes is about to com to an end, but you're here criticizing the bill every responsible person and organisation is supporting.

Why are people celebrating this, there isn't really any significant upgrade from the previous law, those saying the north can't always have their way obviously didn't go through this new bill.

Only the masses will feel the heat.

I doubt of he reads at all.....
The tax is targeted more to the rich ....And aimed at States particularly in the North should be more self reliant than depending so much on the Centre...

Tinubu is a President with many first and a leader that breaks many boundaries, his name will be etch in gold.
He himself knows that what you are saying is not true, he knows this is just the talk of an ass licker,so he is already doing it by himself, he knows no one will do it for him
He is about to name half of Nigeria after himself in just 2years in office

A hawker/food/seller etc earning over N25 million per year should pay taxes—don’t you agree?
