The recent overtures from the South-West, particularly from Tinubu and his allies, towards the South-South region should be viewed with caution. It is amusing to see this sudden and fake display of affection, especially considering their past actions. Throughout Jonathan's tenure, the South-West, led by Tinubu, were his fiercest critics. They relentlessly attacked every aspect of his government, often using media blackmail and propaganda to undermine his authority. They even collaborated with the North to bring down his government. Now, they expect the South-South to forget their past transgressions and align with them? It's laughable. Their actions are driven by self-interest, not a genuine concern for the well-being of the South-South. Even today, they continue to mock Jonathan and, by extension, the entire South-South region. Their statement, "Tinubu is not Jonathan," whenever they got threatened by the North, is a thinly veiled jab at the former president and the people who supported him. The South-South should be wise to their tactics. Any promises made to the region will be quickly forgotten once they achieve their goals. We must learn from the past and not fall for their deceit. Let us stand united and not be swayed by empty promises. We deserve better than to be treated like pawns in this game. |

Everyday u guys keep shouting Tinubu is not GEJ Is that not mockery to us? Una sins towards the SS plenty and we all know incase you think we have forgotten |

The writer needs medical attention. Go and read about NADECO, it was founded by South-South and South-West. Go and find out those who fought tirelessly for the Ogoni leaders who were heartlessly murder, it was the South-West and South-South. Go and remind yourself again who single handedly picked Goatluck Jonathan as VP to Yar’Adua, it was Olusegun Obasanjo, a South-Westerner. Go and remind yourself who out who pressured the National Assembly to make Goatluck Jonathan a South-Southerner the substantive President when Yar’Adua was nowhere to be found and his wife Turai was illegally the unofficial President, it was the South-Westerners lead by Wole Soyinka, Tunde Bakare and others . If not that Goatluck Jonathan is a greedy thief, then he will not try a 3rd term like Olusegun Obasanjo after he (Goatluck) has ruled for 6 years. So he wanted to rule for 10 years with his zero achievement. Ordinary East-West road, he couldn’t complete, 2nd Niger Bridge - no achievement, Lagos-Ibadan expressway and railway - no achievement. His only achievement is building a federal university in his tiny village of Otuoke, yet he wanted another 4 years after wasted years. We kicked out the clueless thief. Let me remind you again that Tinubu is not Jonathan. Anyone that still doubts that will weep again in 2027 when we teach you another political lesson. |

Tinubu has no sins despite having alot of baggages more than any human being that ever existed on earth. Tinubu has no sins despite been the most corrupt individual in the history of Nigeria politics. Etc But see how he came after GEJ. They all forgot about NADECO when they gang in ojota protesting daily. Ganged up with the North I hope you can see how he confirmed my post. We are here |

Can you imagine what eboes people are spewing out even if you say you should try and support them their sinister behavior would keep dragging the person backward. With kind of hate this people got for Yoruba and other Nigerians is too much how will a sensible Yoruba folks vote ebo person? Yesterday here the ebo man called himself nationalist that want to gover Nigeria went to lied on a national TV that Yoruba people destroyed his brother property. Right now I'm tired of this people you are warning a particular region to be careful of a whole tribe I'm wondering about the particular tribe you are referring in south south because as far as south south is concerned the southwest has a historical record of political allies if you think I'm lie go ask your father. It was this 90s that the relationship went astray and its handwork of you eboes people.. Yesterday a woman from calabar was asking me if am igbo I said why she asked she said because he hate them and she don't want to do anything with them. Can you imagine that you people are just deceiving yourself your image has damaged both local and international. |

Hahahahah. South West as a region don't force love. We have value, people need us same way we need them South East bride have been taken away from them hence the noise about this epistle. You married a beautiful wife and refused to treat her properly, you are not the only man on this crust for her. 2031 election, South South are already positioning themselves for VP position, the same way South West will need them in 2027 is the same way they will need South West from 2031. Friendship with benefits Those who have lost their value that made people to be deserting them should change their tactics |

Stop gaslighting the South South... We don't play the hate game or focus on politics of emotions. If the Lagos Calabar Coastal highway can be completed opening up the economic integration between the South South and the South West, it will transform the region. |

OredoPikin:While at it, kindly remind the people of the south south who made Goodluck Jonathan Vice President in 2007. Without Obasanjo, Jonathan would never have amounted to anything beyond a deputy governor. A Yoruba man made him governor and later vice president. Again, remind the people of south south who fought against the cabal to ensure Jonathan was made the Acting President. At a time when the Ibo National Chairman of PDP and all south east governors were in bed with the Turai cabal, it was activist from the south west that led the battle for Jonathan to become the Acting. In fact, Vincent Ogbulafor publicly declared that Jonathan cannot be Acting President. Yet, Yorubas took the Save Nigeria protest from Lagos to the street of Abuja and the following day, David Mark and his Nass members were forced to invoke the doctrine of necessity to make Jonathan president. Again, remind the people of south south that in 2011, the people of south west gave him the necessary votes that helped him to be elected president. He won massively in 5 out of the 6 states in the south west. If the south west had voted for Buhari in 2011, Jonathan would have lost that election and we all saw the reality in 2015. Finally, remind the people of the south south who supported their son, Godswill Akpabio to become the senate president. At a time when all Ibo senators led by Kalu Uzor Orji backed Senator Yari from Zamfara state, it was Bola Tinubu and South west senators that mobilized full support for Akpabio. I won’t even go into details of those that have mounted the toughest criticism and condemnation of the Lagos-Calabar super highway that will open up the entire south south for massive opportunities. The facts are all there for everyone to see. |

simpleseyi: ![]() ..these are the type of lies & Illusion inherent in people that hated a man because he was from the minority..all the hatred melted out to GEJ.. ..can you with your vote alone make GEJ President..?..everytime..the SW claims to have .ade him President.. ..tell me why you hated him..& stop talking about supporting him because..All other region supported him... ..your leaders like Soyinka, Bakare did the worst..even soyinka abused the wife..calling her names.. ..you & the SW supported darling daddy...despite all the failures & misery of the Ruga master...you all continued your support fir the failed buhari..even saying he is the best.. Gej never did half of what the darling daddy did..but the hatred made you all to occupy Nigeria to protest.. ![]() |

seunmsg:This is how dey lie thinking everyone are fools like them I really wondered why everyone against you is tagged ibos. You guys want thw whole country to hate them for no reason why yout brother Tinubu destroy the country and make our lives miserable. We are watching Back to the topic Here are your facts not long write all. You said ALL senators from SE voted against Akpabio Emphasis on All Igbos has 15 senators, 8 voted Akpabio, 6 voted Yari, 1 was absent Attached is the screenshot for Nigerians on nairaland to know and see how u constantly lie against igbos for no reason and then want every other part of Nigeria to join you to hate them by lying. Secondly, you said you massively support GEJ in 2011 Attached is theresult for nairalanders to clearly see how u splitted you votes and called it massive support. Igbos with just 5states provided twice your vote for us and u tag urs massive support. Meanwhile you have 6 states🤣 I am surprised you mentioned Obasenjo 🤣 same OBJ that u all abuse and tag igbo daily just as u are tagging me and my post igbo because i dont support your nonsense 😂

OredoPikin:The facts speaks for itself so no need to engage you in any back and forth. The people of south south knows better and that’s why almost all their governors and elected lawmakers have moved to APC. Below is a thread on those who intend to stop a south south son from becoming president. I guess they are all Yorubas as well. 👇 https://www.nairaland.com/381150/why-jonathan-cannot-acting-president |

You keep looking for what you are not able to give to others. Tinubu has declared state of emergency in Rivers and doing everything he likes there, tomorrow when it will be done in LAGOS by a northerner you will start calling hate . |

seunmsg:U see how i humbled u with facts😂 U think is to write long episode with nothing to back it up. U dey tell Edo boy say the people of south south knows better 🤣🤣 Okay ooo Till den Lets see how many votes the governors go manufacture for Tinubu Secondly you are showing me post u didn't read. My people from SS, kindly open that link, yaradua was not confirmed dead. The opposition protest that GEJ be made acting president pending when yaradua returns. Ogbulafor who spoke on behalf of PDP and not as an individual said the party said not now. But here is he trying to cunning make it an igbo affair. Thats their character and that's the character that want our support in 2027🤣 Meanwhile Tinubu has left this country countless times without transmitting power to his vice president Shettima and nobody said anything But these same people were busy protesting daily anytime yaradua leaves the country for him to handover to our son but today kept mute as Tinubu run out of Nigeria every week without transmitting power to Shettima That is who they Hypocrites Deceivers No moral standing Shameless |

seunmsg:The way you Yorubas lie, even the devil will be scared of you guys. This happened just 15years ago with all the information online but here you are turning it upside down. It is on record that the first person of substance to call for the handing over of power to Goodluck Jonathan is an Igbo person. She did so with a very well worded memo presenting her reasons for saying it to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday, the 3rd of February, 2010. The meeting almost turned into a battle ground as those against it rose in anger to silence her. Here, we see Yorubas today trying to claim what they never started. I CHALLENGE the Yorubas making these blatant lies to show with PROOF the Yoruba man of substance that called for Goodluck Jonathan to be made acting president ON RECORD before 3rd February, 2010. Other people, make una dey take note of all Yoruba people lies against Igbo people o.
