simpleseyi:You guys said Obasanjo is not a Yoruba, that only Tinubu is a true Yoruba president... You guys stopped South South from achieving 8yrs in office... Nemesis |

Tochi3:They said Obasanjo is not a Yoruba man one of the reasons is because he didn't acknowledge June 12 as Democracy day...hence Obasanjo tenure wasn't a Yoruba tenure... |

Thank God our south south brothers have finally waken up. The south west said we Igbos are the bride of south south, yes we no dispute that but at least our loyalty is not in dispute. The world already knows the people that will tell you ' wait 'when they actually meant ' run ' |

helinues:Well, it's good to postulate about 2031. Unfortunately, there won't be a 2031 for Nigeria with Igbos in it. We will be out of this contraption by then. Don't ask how and don't doubt me. Other nations will emerge from this company called Nigeria. That's when we will know which nation is truly progressive. |

OredoPikin:Stop it, you just happened on the name Oredo Local Government, why not use a moniker of an LG of where you are from? Ẹdo elections, I barely saw you in the threads engaging in discussions apart from jumping up and down shouting LP even though people know they had no chance. Looking at your history, we see posts on Anambra state etc. Stop faking it. |

Yoruba does not recognise anything called 'South South'. In their eyes, anything that is not from the North, and is not from the South West, must be Igbo. If you think you're being wise by claiming Ibibio or Ijaw or Esan or any of the hundreds of disparate ethnicities that agglomerate unwieldily into the clumsy collective politically known as 'South South', then the joke is on you if you think that gives you some leeway in the reckoning of the average Yoruba person. Even their educated people stubbornly referred to Jonathan as Igbo, and Emefiele as Igbo. They only conveniently remember one's "South South" origins when it suits their self-centered purposes. |
