Mikasaobi:All of that is for naught if they can't enrich uranium. The US/Israel plan for Iran is terrible. They have no intention of letting them prosper. So they need a deterrent to keep the US/Israel on their best behavior even after sanctions are lifted. The missile stockpile is a great primary deterrent. But in the absence of a nuke (which we know they can't have if they seek economic prosperity in the near-term), they must at least have the ability to enrich nuclear material. Call it the Japan compromise. Japan does not have nukes. But it can enrich nuclear material. At any point Japan faces an existential threat, it will put together a nike within a short time while its conventional defense buys time. Iran needs that. Its scientists and generals have been assassinated within and outside its borders. It has sacrificed too much to give up enrichment for any reason under the sun. -Lord |

LordAdam16:Iran doesn't have Russia backing. Putin badly wants to get back on the SWIFT system remember. He will gladly throw Iran under the bus if sanctions against Russia are lifted. By offering to take possession of their 950 pounds of their HEU and centrifuges while selling supplying them with 3 5% enriched uranium for their power generation. Which they dont need , they have too much gas and oil That would be what he will offer to the west in addition to a ceasefire with Ukraine.Charity begins at home. Mark my words. |

FoolishBoy419:Iran doesn't need a nuke. Israel is not attacking anyone at all with their nukes , and if they have to , it will be the Samson option. We go down but all those beautiful cities in Europe, those cities, it will be a shame if something happens to them. Europe rushed to protect Israel from Iranian missiles while learning their own lessons. Soon every nation will have hypersonic missiles. Who needs a war in the middle east. Only Iran . Saudi and other countries embracing Abraham Accords know their clerics and extremists are the ones who are concerned about the existence of Israel as a Jewish nation in territory once ruled by Muslims. The leadership doesn't care as long as they are in power. If theocrats in Iran lose power to secularists then immediate threat to Israel goes away. They were sponsoring any one who could fight Israel. The world has largely moved on ,only extremists and clerics give a hoot about Israel, Jerusalem ,or Jews. |

⚡Israeli Army's officers and soldiers were ordered to fire at unarmed crowds near food distribution sites in Gaza, even when no threat was present. Hundreds of Palestinians have been deliberately killed by Israeli soldiers near food distribution sites in recent days. |

basilico:I dont blame you. I too used to used to parrot this overused narrative in support of Israel before my eyes opened. Iran wants war and yet they didn't start this war or any other war in the Middle East, unlike the so-called responsible democratic countries. You should go and learn how the first coup in Iran occured and who backed Saddam Hussein as he murdered Iranians with chemical weapons. Iran was in the middle of negotiations when Israel and America executed a terrorist attack on its soil. Their officers have been killed within and outside Iranian territory for no justifiable reason, their embassy has been bombed, but it's all fair since it is Iran. You can believe whatever lies you want to believe but logical minds know that without nukes, Iran is just another Libya, Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan in the making. If religion is what makes countries oppose Israel, then I'd like you to explain to us why millions of Christians and atheists around the world supported Iran in this war. And before you talk about Houthis, Hezbollah, and Hamas, I want you know that I don't and will never see them as terrorist groups (esp the first two groups). I know what real terrorists look like, and they are all American brain children. |

@Basilico And if Israel can keep their nukes because they haven't attacked anyone with them, then what do we do about USA? And what has happened has happened. The Brits have imposed and empowered aliens on Palestine, and that's fine. Anyone seeking the expulsion of Jews from Israel is on a long thing. But that doesn't mean we have to support them as they seize lands and massacre innocent people at will. We will not support its reckless attacks on neighboring countries just because they are allies of the West. If they can agree to leave Palestinians alone and live peacefully with everyone, I'd become their fan. |

A clear indication that the Iranian regime is under pressure from the economic consequences of the conflict with Israel. According to reports, in the past two days, 120,000 Afghan refugees were deported from Iran in what has been described as the largest deportation operation of refugees from Iran in 20 years. For years, Iranians have complained that Afghan refugees are an economic burden on the country, increasing unemployment and putting pressure on resources. Is it a coincidence that a day after the ceasefire with Israel, the first thing the Ayatollah regime does is deport tens of thousands of Afghans? We think not. The regime understands that the negative and destructive processes in the Iranian economy before the conflict with Israel will only intensify and accelerate, and they are trying to address this, among other things, through the deportation of Afghans. It is highly doubtful whether this will help...

The UK Home Office is increasingly denying refugee status to Ukrainians, arguing that they can "relocate to internally safe regions" of Ukraine, The Guardian reports. According to the publication, London has accepted approximately 300,000 Ukrainian citizens since the beginning of the conflict. However, since 2023, only 47 people have been granted refugee status, while another 724 have received so-called humanitarian protection. The majority of Ukrainians in Britain live on temporary visas valid for 18 months. The lack of clear prospects is causing anxiety and uncertainty about the future. A similar approach was previously recorded in Switzerland, where shelter is only provided to those who fled from active combat zones, and not the entire country. These signals clearly show that European policy towards Ukrainian displaced persons is becoming increasingly strict. |

⚡️🇱🇧JUST IN: In the past few hours, Israel launched heavy airstrikes on Nabatiyeh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon, targeting the Ali Al-Taher and Al-Dabsha areas. Over 20 missiles were fired in just 15 minutes, marking the second-largest attack on the area since the end of the 66-day war. According to Lebanon’s Health Ministry (preliminary toll): ➤ 1 person was killed and 11 injured in a strike on an apartment ➤ 4 others were wounded in earlier attacks.

Uprightness100:We talked about this here a few days ago. A good number of the Mossad spies caught in Iran are foreigners, particularly Afghans. It makes sense that Iran will want to deport those it suspects of being Mossad spies but is unsure of their status. |

Russian Army captured the settlement of Shevchenko in the Donbass, near which is one of the largest lithium deposits in Europe — Russian Ministry of Defense The reserves of the Shevchenko deposit were estimated back in the USSR at 14 million tons of ore, containing from 0.5% to 4% lithium hydroxide. Moreover, the minerals here are at a shallow depth of 70-130 m. Discovered in 1982, the deposit was not developed Australian European Lithium is in fact owned by Great Britain. In January 2024, during the visit of British Prime Minister Sunak – the Ukraine completed this deal and as a gift for signing the mutual security agreement - the British received the right to develop the Shevchenkovskoye deposit. This is why I don’t understand the US-Ukraine Minerals Deal. How can you reach a deal when you don’t know the outcome of the war?PR or what?
