I said it bt no one listened... Nigeria is not a democratic country. The constitution was influenced by undemocratic elements in the Army. So much power in the hand of one man is a disaster.

It's quite sad that an ApC man is resolving another party's problems. PDP really fell off, Jagaban tinubu is a man of peace. The entire APC system is united politically because of his efforts from day one.
I wish others will follow suit and I really don't know how they'll unsit him in 2027 if their own houses are divided.
It is Nigerians that will unseat him not parties. We Nigerians are already united in poverty, inflation, insecurities, hunger, et al.

I agree with his position. Too many evil minded men in Rivers and Delta.

Secondly, Emilokan is never a man I can trust.

Itsa clear surrender to the terms of sharing that the Wiked one has always wanted.

You people won't succeed this time around, the man is wiser now, when he was removed, none of you protested, rather na online warrior una be, you think you people can deceive him the second time? This life, just be selfish because no one cares, once the chips are down, everyone moves on. If your shadows can leave u in dark, who is that human being that can't leave you. I expected even PDP governors to lead a protest when tinubu removed him but no one did anything.
No one did anything

It’s quite unfortunate, apart from bayelsa , I don’t understand what’s happIng inother south south states. Funara should accept the deal , next yea he should contest and his people should rally round him. That’s why I love Igbo they will rally round the governor and tell him to contest next year let’s see what the foolish undemocratic president will do. Maybe he thinks other states are like Lagos he had held hostage or ages
There is a 'key' in that agreement, to make life difficult for the Governor, if he tries your suggestion:
- Agbaaya demanded that Wike will appoint ALL the LGA Chairmen (loyalty to Wike)
- The Re-instated Legislators will be paid back salaries and will have the leverage to still impeach the Governor, if they so desire.

IMO, l think it is better to die-fighting, than to surrender and be humiliated.
I think Fubara should reject the Nonsense intimidation and stand his ground.
Let the Sole Administrator rule for as long as Agbaaya wants, maximum is 2027.
No one can occupy Aso Rock forever, even Wike wont be Minister forever!

But Fubara is a Politician and their interest is first and foremost, about SELF.
I am sure if Agbaaya asked him to lick Wike's bumbum, he would, as long as they return him to Governor's position, as if he would die, if he does not become Governor. grin grin grin

Stay with your People, retain their Trust and backing, and you will return to that seat, in blazing glory.

No plan B anywhere. Dude's hands are tied. Without first buying over the legislative majority, he had and has zero chance to overthrow Chief Wike. He should just serve jejely and go.

He is worse off now than before the emergency rule. He could still be impeached at the slightest provocation. But for the money, dude would have more honour if he resigned and went on exile. He will hardly be respected, but only pitied when he returns.

He should have maintained till the end of his first tenure, before rebelling.
This is proof that the south south don't know how to play politics.

Intelligence is multidimensional, it's not about certificate.

Tinubu is the worst person to be presented as a democrat if not that Nigerians are gullible
Re: Peace Deal Lopsided, Attempt To Restore Wike’s Grip On Rivers - Nwibubasa by eteba(m): 11:45am On Jun 28, 2025
For as long as Sim wants to return as Rivers gov, he has to surrender as he did.

All the political weights that urged him on a war path with Wike, couldn't help but watch as the gov was embarrassed out of office, they had no solution to the problem.

The gov had no choice than to move on without them.

And the fact that Fubara started talking with the coalition leaders, who promised him backing, means he can never be trusted again.

This is politics 101.

Messed up! So much for democracy... A deal being brokered for a seating governor with someone that could now be considered an ordinary citizen, and probably be in prison for causing chaos in a state.

When the so-called "Champion of Democracy" is openly encouraging Godfatherism in politics, the same thing he has openly cried out against when he was on the receiving end, then God help us ordinary citizens in Rivers state. Its also sad that our President is clearly encouraging a the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike who has openly confirmed that he installed Sim as Governor of Rivers state, much against the belief that Sim was voted into power by the good people of the state. Are we gonna see much more of this? Of course and Kogi State isnt too far behind.

48 Laws of Power

Very 1st Rule Number 1.

"Never Outshine your Master".

I guess you and Sim Fubara need to go to strategy school to learn Laws governing Power.

I agree with you. It would be more honorable for him to reject whatever remedial action being proposed by Wike and his gang of thieves, resign from office and go into exile. With this action he would be putting DEMOCRACY FIRST. His actions would be herald as a stand against Godfatherism and the tyranny of Emperor Wike. it would send a very strong signal that everything is not about "belle infrastructure" and that he is a principled gentleman.
