I don't think S.e.u.n ever intended to remove the local share. I suspect the feature was being worked on when it disappeared. Now it appears the feature has been perfected and is now dual-purpose (local and external), and is working perfectly on PC and mobile.

On mobile browser, when you click on the share button, it automatically shares locally, and other external share options pop up from your phone.

On PC or desktop mode, when you click the share button, it shares locally with a drop down menu popping up to share to Whatsapp, Telegram, Twitter and facebook

As per the spambot, na that one I no know. Moderation no be black and white. It requires human nuance, interpretation, comprehension and understanding, something I don"t think an AI bot is capable of........but make we see as e go be.

While he’s focused on attracting Gen Z users or increasing the number of active users on the platform, he shouldn’t forget that retaining the existing community is just as—if not more—important. Addressing the nuisance caused by the current spambot is one way to do that. We’ve been raising this issue for over a month now with no noticeable improvement. Slowly but surely, people will start to lose interest. Unless, of course, the goal is to drive away long-time members—in which case, the new spambot seems to be doing a pretty effective job.

By the way, the local share feature still isn’t functioning properly. I tried using it earlier, but nothing happened.

Thanks, Semi… Hopefully it doesn’t take too long, sha. Unfortunately, for some of us—myself included—NL is the only social media platform we actively use. At this rate, I might have to give it up and just stick to reading posts occasionally.

It seems the local share issue has been fixed.

The external share button shares both quoted posts and a response making both appear as one post by the responder.
