I don't know why his marriage crashed but sometimes, a simple 'I am sorry' could be all it takes to save a marriage. My tender kids have learned how to come and appease me when they fall out of line. They plead that they are sorry and won't do it again. I didn't teach them to do this, maybe their mum did and it works.
