If there is one trait every politician has, it should be the ability to decieve people.
One politician who has always been on the news over his frugality and modest lifestyle is the 2023 LP presidential candidate. Peter Gregory Obi.
Not just the Obidients but even Obi has tried to sell this image to the public, he has made statements how he has only one watch for 17yrs, wears only two pairs of black shoes, take advice from even mad men, and as been consistent in paying condolence visits to families especially in the north and west.

Recently Wike exposed him that despite this characters he portray outside, deep in his closet, Obi drinks the finest and expensive wines. If someone like Wike thinks ur wines are expensive, then yes they are. Many people didn't react much to these because there are those who believes Wikes words and know Obi is a chameleon just like other politicians and didn't see much about the revelation, also there are Obidients who doesn't care and will still follow Obi cos they believe he is a messiah.

But the uproar came when Obi decided to fix the allegations. He went on air and talks about how he has a million dollars.
Wikes words isnt weda Obi is rich or not, but the image he shows outside is different from that which he really is.
So then what's the purpose of trying to tell us u wear one watch when the wine u drink in one sittings can buy 100 watches?

All Politicians are not the same.

While politics might seem similar as the results is to get into or influence power, politicians differ, will you compare sanwoolu to T.A Orji or will you compare El Rufai to Ngige despite both of them being short.

I have an uncle who is a business man and a pastor... He does not drink alcohol but has a bar with all expensive drinks which he keeps for his business guests and rich men..

You guys need to understand something, Obi has been a billionaire long before he joined politics, but has always lived modestly. Compared to the lavish lifestyle other billionaires live, private jets, multiple homes, designer cloths, expensive jewellery etc, Obi lives modestly

That he met a sitting Governor and decided to buy expensive bottle of champagne for his guest, in no way means he lives a lavish lifestyle. It was for the occasion
