You have made baseless leaps of assumptions here - i have highlighted in bold the words that show this.



Reno was an aide to Atiku. Atiku could direct that CVs be collated through him or any other steps in the administrative process be taken by him for that matter. You need to pay attention to what is being claimed. Reno claims that he was being begged and harassed by PO for the role. His email does not disclose any such thing. It only discloses a CV forwarded to him at the instruction of his boss. Your assumption that Reno was a "convincer" is simply baseless - rooted in absolutely nothing.

Aside from that I wonder what sort of imagination you have about Nigerian politics so as to give you the impression that at that level a personality such as Atiku would rely on a nonentity kid like Reno to "convince" him of such a heavy weight decision as choice of Vice President. I will stop short of saying what I really think of such a preposterous notion out of respect for you.

At all events, you are surely aware that Atiku has explained how he chose Obi - at the recommendation of Obasanjo.

What would the resume be sent to Reno for? Scrutiny right? This is not an SSA 9r special adviser position.. A whole VP had to send his resume through Reno? Does that make sense except that it would mean Obi was not Atiku' first choice and he had to be convinced? And going by the email thread, who looks like the obvious convincer? From what I can gather here, your oga AA (Atiku Abubakar), if that is the name you redacted in the email, simply asked him to sent his resume to you. Meaning that Reno was more like an assistant to Atiku or maybe an adviser. What Reno posted above does not imply that P.O was begging him to help him beg oga to pick him
