President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been conferred with the prestigious title of Knight Commander of the Order of Saint Lucia, the highest honour bestowed by the Caribbean nation.

The special investiture took place during a state event in recognition of Tinubu’s contributions to strengthening diplomatic ties and promoting mutual cooperation between Nigeria and Saint Lucia.

The award marks a significant moment in the President’s international engagements, positioning him as a symbol of continental leadership beyond Africa.

The tittle, rarely awarded to foreign leaders, was presented amid cheers and fanfare.

News360 Nigeria reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday had earlier announced the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nigeria and Saint Lucia, describing the move as a symbolic bridge aimed at fostering closer ties between both nations.

The announcement was made during a special joint session of the Senate and House of Assembly of Saint Lucia at the William Jefferson Clinton Ballroom, Sandals Grande, Gros Islet.

President Tinubu proposed the creation of a Joint Commission or Political Consultation Agreement to serve as a structured platform for cooperation between Nigeria and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).

That's exactly my thought. This goes for all the ethnics and tribes in Nigeria.

To collect highest title is not the problem, but to take care of people you are collecting the title on behalf. Sango roads are crying for help. Our leaders should stop destroying home and at the same time collecting unnecessary accolades from the outside for the benefits of no one, but self praise

Lagos Abeokuta Expressway is a Federal Road. It should be done by Tinubu and the Ogun state governor ASAP. The residents and the road users are suffering. Every Yoruba in power should do well for their homestead.

It baffles me that this man would travel to a country that has a population that is not up to the smallest local government in Nigeria. 170k+ population. It's insane and madness. Except it's for starching of currency. They will contribute nothing to our country. What is there budget to start with.
