liveLongNprospa:Bro, it is not a brag cos na her earned income, for someone with a decent income abroad it is not a lot crazy if as it was explained saves her money in long run, going to the hairdressers to maintain hair in the abroad is not cheap. These young ones are the ones supporting those high expensive places, cos they don't have much responsibility and for most of them their parents are still working so they pay little or no black tax. |

raumdeuter:Chairman, she could be the 1 out of 10, If VeekyJames buy same car would people not say the same thing? Like Ordinary Tailor? However Bro try enter those Naija fashion shops Ikoyi Lekki Ph1 and see the prices, their target audience pay those prices. I am less inclined to believe she got the car doing OS, other options dey ground, including her hair business. |

Olowunl01:Veekee James is a content creator. We can say she earns from YouTube, Facebook, IG, TikTok Also, Fashion designing is a creative business. Your creativity is what determines your value. So, it is not ordinary. Any business that is a craft is never ordinary, and cannot be compared to Trading. Food, Fashion designing, Furniture making, etc are determined by the craft. So there's no premium to the price at all Someone who sells hair is ordinary. It is a buy and sell business. You can only package it with your outlet, or branding... Nothing more Hair business is very saturated. Anybody and everybody can import from Vietnam, Brazil, or China. Go to Trade fair, and see every Tom, Dick, and Harry hawking all kinds of hair in your face, including the 3 million naira hair The probability that the hair business gave her that wealth is 0.0000000001%. I am not saying she did OS, but that's not what got her a Cybertruck |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:Look Elon looks hurt about the EV mandate being cut from the bill. And Trump said everything he's doing now, Elon knew he would do it all along. To be fair to Trump, he's just trying to codify the things he ran on simple as that.

izzou:We did a charger install for a guy who bought a Benz ev. That car is 190m The guy is an oil and gas ceo Then we have some other dudes who are high level managers who bought Chinese evs in the range of 70m You have an idea of their actual income and the range of people who can buy an EV Then again the cybertruck may not be new. Some People are actually trying to get rid of their trucks so it may not be at the market price. |

raumdeuter:IG na celebrities, social media influencers and internet personalities playground. Na capping, forming, aesthetics and exaggeration full there. Everyone dey show off and present an idealized version of themselves which is different from the Nigerian reality. On Instagram, nobody dey use aluminium or stainless steel pots dey cook. Everybody dey use ceramic cookware. Nobody dey serve rice the normal way. Rice servings be like artwork with a small mound of rice with valley, and the protein and other orisirisi by the side. From IG, I learned Buchymix blenders, food processors, and air fryers are the only brands in the Nigerian market. According to IG, nobody dey climb okada or commute via public transport. Everyone dey run around with ride hailing services; uber, bolt, taxify etc From IG, I know malaria has been eradicated in Nigeria because no one sleeps under mosquito nets. etc etc Me, I don abandon IG for TikTok cos TT offers me a more authentic and realistic glimpse into the lives of ordinary nigerians. People are more themselves on TT. They share their raw and unfiltered moments, their struggles and challenges. Also, the TT algorithm is far more advanced as it brings more of my interests and relatable contents across my timeline. Vendors and service providers are more on TT, and offer better prices too. For me, TikTok truly captures the pulse of daily Nigerian life in a way that Instagram simply doesn't, and of course, it's a far better app. To paraphrase, Sam Adeyemi who I consider to be one of the best motivational and inspirational preachers in Nigeria, if you wan sabi road for these present times, follow the youths. Na them God dey talk and reveal him future plans to. E get reason why Gen Z's are more on TikTok than any other platform. At the end, do you. Move at your own pace and no let social media pressure you. |

The existence of billionaires is proof that people can make stupendous amounts of money in very short periods, and there's no industry that doesn't have persons that have done such. |

BlueRayDick:well, it is ALWAYS CHEAPER to buy from obodo oyibo or china when you do the comparison add amazon shipping etc, there is still a very high margin |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 5:27pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
Theflint1:All this one wey u dey talk na cap. Nobody will make enough money to be able to buy 400 million cybertruck from buying and selling wigs and hairs in Lagos. |

BlueRayDick:Do you think people can become billionaires through buying and selling in Lagos? I know we've made an argument about billionaires not existing in Computer Village before, today it's hair sellers...which business do you think people can become billionaires from, strictly through buying and selling? |

E fit be say na you dey clear container from port, make people you dey supply dey make higher margins...every body with their respective market. Now imagine a business man/woman that inserts themselves at the port end (bringing in their own containers) and at the direct to customer end, all the profit that'd have gone to retailers, they're making it all for themselves ![]() |

Theflint1:Comparing importers who sell computers, phones and accessories at computer village with hair vendors is apples vs oranges debate bro. Almost everywhere u turn online u see "wigs by x", "wigs by v", etc. Someone already pointed it out earlier that the wigs market is saturated and definitely not profitable enough for a seller to make that kind of margin that will afford u a luxury vehicle worth 400 million naira. I know we have a number problem in this country, but haba! I no go swallow that kind lamba say the lady made over 400 million in profit retailing just wigs and hairs. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 5:59pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:You dey see why we no dey pay t*x. 99% of Nigerian leaders are criminals. Paying tax is just dashing criminals your hard earned money. |

semid4lyfe:Perhaps Tinubu is just finding out same on the internet. The minister of FCT actually has much powers as far as administration in FCT is concerned. I don't think the minister of FCT will run that kind of parole through the presidency. The article even suggested that Elrufai and the current Bauchi state government attempted something similar during their times as FCT ministers as well. It is what Tinubu does after all these comes to the open that matters. |

BlueRayDick:For someone to drop 400m on a car, best believe they’re sitting on at least 800m to 1b. Let’s be serious — the wig market is oversaturated. There’s no way you're pulling in that kind of profit just from flipping hair. But trust emotional people to miss the plot. They're on X yelling, “Do you know how many years she’s been selling wigs?” like time alone prints money. Most of the people defending that lamba clearly have no clue what 400m actually is. They talk like it’s 4m. ![]() |
