When God tells you I am the same yesterday, today and forever, he is simply tell you that as far as his standards are concerned, they have never changed, his views on issues of life are the same as they were at creation. Men in their overzealousness like the Pharisees are the one who keep inventing standards and burden people with them when they themselves don't live out those standards. I find it amusing when pastors arise and begin to reinvent Christianity that predate their great ancestors. Of course, they will run into errors and heresies.

✓ I'm not their member but their students fellowship used to rent an apartment with us and I later had one as my staff. The one I had as staff had long explained (as far back as 2010/2011) when he worked with me that most of those extreme doctrines were from regional and local pastors. He sited an example where his local pastor just condemned the use of cufflinks on a certain day and the same week he watched Kumiyi on TV using cufflinks.

✓ This is a shocking development, what happens to those people whose lives and marriages were destroyed earlier because of unbalanced indoctrinations, and hardline teachings that were extremely complicated and out of context

1. Religion is a scam. How can it not be bad?

2. Men are not spiritual(most claims of spirituality point to it being external to man and not of man himself), but can resolve ideas via emotional and logical reasoning.

3. But Religion, a political tool(propaganda machine) created by men with which to rule over other men, can only do what men want, which is to concoct human doctrine for their benefit. (They hide their fables behind the many mentions of a divine that they claim can only be accessed by their methods, too.)

When a person tells you something, do your due diligence to verify the claims made for Pete's sake. Let me cite a better example for you in this particular situation. Kumuyi's own wives have never been out and about or seen by anyone out there without head covering or wearing Jewelry --- broaches, cufflinks even---, have they? They get their commands straight from Kumuyi's own mouth, do they not? In that Video, Kumuyi pretends that he always meant that a woman ought to cover her hair only when she is praying or prophesying yet his own wife --- both present and past --- have never been seen without a covering on their heads much the same as most deeper life women. 🥱🥱

Do you now not see there the big issue with his very own claim and that story told you by your friend back in 2010/2011? 😩😩

⚉ when was the first picture taken? By any chance was it taken back in the 80s/90s when the strict rules on women's dressing in Deeper Life were only beginning to take shape?
⚉ And when was the second picture of the old woman taken? Was it after the man decided his doctrine needed to be tweaked?

The dates are sort of important to this here.

That picture looks like the woman from back during the 80s and 90s. The second picture looks very much like it was taken very recently. Am I wrong?

For one, the pictures do not include information on when they were taken, and second, they do not depict the women being out and about without a head covering. The former wife probably had that picture taken of her for the women's magazine back before the head covering mandate came down. And the new wife, well, she looks like she had that picture taken of her for a photo op, probably to promote the retraction of the headcovering mandate.

What about pictures from the over 30-year period during which the mandate was in effect? She— old or new wife —no dey go market or hang out with friends without a head covering? Social media is sort of allowed, right? So, what about social media pictures without a headcovering on?

➜All you are attempting to do is damage control and that would negate the fact that you categorically said that no one has seen Pastor Kumuyi’s wife - dead or alive without head covering.
