Do you think people can become billionaires through buying and selling in Lagos?

I know we've made an argument about billionaires not existing in Computer Village before, today it's hair sellers...which business do you think people can become billionaires from, strictly through buying and selling?
The time you spent assuming she is a billionaire, is just enough time to import your own hair from Brazil and Vietnam, and end up as a billionaire by December

Hope you know?

For someone to drop 400m on a car, best believe they’re sitting on at least 800m to 1b. Let’s be serious — the wig market is oversaturated. There’s no way you're pulling in that kind of profit just from flipping hair.
But trust emotional people to miss the plot. They're on X yelling, “Do you know how many years she’s been selling wigs?” like time alone prints money.

Most of the people defending that lamba clearly have no clue what 400m actually is. They talk like it’s 4m. grin
The bold is what I think also.

Like they need to understand we are not talking about 400k, 4m, 40m but 400m in savings.

Even the MD of Zenith bank that reportedly bought shares worth billions of naira recently will not just carry 400m and buy cybertruck despite having most of her expenses covered by allowances tied to her position

That's the problem with 90% success stories today. Many cannot be replicated because na lamba.

You'll see someone say they became a billionaire by selling perfumes. The person won't tell you that he sold a land and got the commission, or he washed money into the system and took his cut, or he did one deal here or there.

That's why many Nigerian billionaires have no process in their stories. They just wake up and tell you they jumped from Rags to Riches.

If that lady was selling hair for years, the pattern would be there. Hair sellers will know her. She would be at the top of her game.

Why stop there, maybe I should start refining my own fuel like Dangote and become a billionaire in USD.

I believe that refining crude can make you a billionaire. We have track records for that. Before Dangote, Otedola, Alakija, Arthur Eze existed.

You are the one that believes selling hair can make you a billionaire

Just jump in, and prove us all wrong.

Islam allows polygamy na, so if the other kids are confirmed to be her late husband's she technically can't exclude them from inheriting his properties.

One Nigerian female “entrepreneur” was being interviewed, and when asked how she got so rich, all she could say was “na God.” That was it. No business model, no strategy, no real explanation — just divine deposit alerts.
The moment the interviewer tried to dig deeper, she switched to emotional blackmail mode — voice cracking, eyes welling up, like she was about to cry. Man had to back off and change the topic. grin grin

That’s honestly the only explanation, bro. If people truly understood what 400m is, they wouldn’t be defending that lamba like it makes sense. Not 4m, not 40m — but 400m, from selling hair?

So what are the people who import the entire containers making? Trillions? grin

Let’s be real — there are states in this country that don’t even generate that much in internal revenue. Yet we’re meant to believe someone pulled that off from wigs? grin

The fact that the wife doesn't know about his marriage with the other women doesn't necessarily mean he didn't marry them o.

I don't know the full details of the case but the screenshot u attached says the supreme court ruling aligns with "Islam law". The fact that the woman claimed they were illegitimate under Islamic law and she didn't get judgement in her favor definitely confirms that she was wrong in her assumption.

Plenty men dey marry multiple wives without the knowledge of their first wife in Africa na

The fact that she used to roll with ama is why I believe she's not pure. For her to roll with that girl, even if she's no longer an OS, she was once an OS. grin

Baba, one of my ex-varsity mate sells these wigs and hair. She travels to meet suppliers abroad ; she goes to Ghana and other western African countries to participate in trade fairs to sell her wares ; she's even had popular celebrities/influencers run adverts for her and I can confirm she's doing well for herself.....

But trust me, despite all the work I know she puts into her hustle if she wakes tomorrow and claims she bought 400m luxury from selling those wigs I will just laugh it off. I will laugh anybody who swallow the lamba.

Inheritance is not meant only for kids inside marriage, Its for any kid you have and you like

In the days our forefathers are not married they still share inheritance, even some people are not officially married now but have kids (e.g do you think Davido wont share inheritance for all his children outside Chiomas own)

As in....If 400m na just a part of her profit wey she save, how much go come be her working capital?

And for those who claim maybe the husband financed the purchase, I think they need to watch her video with egungun of Lagos where she debunked it and insisted she bought it with proceeds from her hustle.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I honestly think it’s high time the government started inviting people like this for proper investigation — let them prove they actually made their money through the means they claim.

Because unlike some of us who can spot the lie from a mile away, there are plenty of impressionable people out there swallowing that propaganda hook, line, and sinker. Next thing, they’re neck-deep in fraud, rituals, or all sorts of immoral nonsense — all because they’re chasing a lifestyle built on pure fiction.

If the government doesn’t wake up, we're headed straight for disaster. Yahoo boys and corrupt politicians have already torn a chunk out of the moral fabric of this country. But if they allow this madness to keep spreading, there’ll be nothing left to salvage

You that is actually breaking the law by avoiding tax, what should government do to you? You can't be the one preaching morality.

Even if the man is dead, the children as long as DNA proves it, are entitled to their fathers inheritance.

Women will want to bounce off the outside kids we know that one but the court would be fair to all proven children

Even though I don't live in Nigeria, I believe there is about a 5% that makes big money from these ventures like Club ownership, selling hair, selling wines, sewing clothes, spa, etc and the rest 95% do not make it anywhere close to those
