Even DRC got more foreign direct investments than Nigeria? Unless you are a mafia, or have no qualms with illegalities (example Chinese companies), investing millions of dollars in Nigeria can be gut wrenching. You stand to make huge profits oO, but... |

id4sho:😂😂😂 That's how we know the Giant of Africa (Investment) Finally, we are chopping statistics... IF Nigerians in diaspora can't invest in their country massively....na Foreigners go troop in do am? It says a lot. Until we start having leaders we can idolize and want to be like, we are making no headway. In some countries, some leaders are worshipped by citizens..even after long gone. |

People don't really understand the damage that has been done to their country recently. Sometimes whenever I see the so-called educated people defend the indefensible, I shake my head in disbelief. |

I think I'll be needing a passport to Egypt. Nigeria as a country is no longer viable. Should we call Nigeria a failed state? |

Another d.ic measuring contest fa. Na this statistics we wan chop? The $35 billion Ras El Hekma coastal development in 2024, led by Abu Dhabi’s ADQ, was a standout: it alone accounted for most of the USD 46 billion FDI inflows. The Ras El Hekma coastal development project is a large-scale urban, tourism, and investment initiative aimed at transforming Egypt's North Coast into a major international destination. The project, a collaboration between Egypt and the UAE, involves developing a new city with residential areas, hotels, resorts, entertainment venues, and essential services on over 170 square kilometers. Our Lagos Calabar coastal highway is 700 kilometers and about $10billion but the funding is not FOREIGN so will not be counted as FDI anyway. Imagine if Nigeria wanted to do something great on 170 square kilometers, opposition will make all kinds of noise and say things like we should continue with what we have on ground. When Tinubu's FDI results start coming in, hope people will not start having seizures like they do when we remind them of Lagos. |

Power of electricity, and could be more if sanity and wise vision were applied more often. At the end of the day, you don't need to go around begging for investments, if you are solid and appreciate wisdom. The indigenes can run it. Remember, a good product need no hard sale. An essential product is even greater. |

The insecurity herdsmen, bandit etc are a real issues. No one invest in an unsafe environment. I was speaking to a man from Nigeria few weeks back. A taxi driver. He said he invested into agriculture but now has abandoned his farm n won't return until things improve. We have a government that handle insecurity as if it doesn't matter |

Reno Omokri will argue with this or rather just talk about Peter Obi. These comparisons really show how bad it is for nigeria. Jobs lost by so many persons, economy in shambles, declining FDI's.. |
