Hey guys, it's actually my first time traveling outside the shores of this country. I have a business conference I want to attend in Uganda. And I wish to go through a tourist visa. Any idea of how I can go about this?

Their immigration website is not showing option for tourist visa.

So my questions are:

Which other website can I use or what's the best option(website) for the application.

Must I have to go via tourist visa?

Kindly note that my duration for stay is just 7days or less. Don't want to stay longer.

Pls kindly guide me properly before I make some terrible mistakes and fall in to the hand of scammers.

The conference is scheduled on 10th May, I'm just trying to make my reservations early to avoid late preparations.

The right website is https://visas.immigration.go.ug/

1. always apply using the right link (with govt extension eg .gov, .go.ug, . gov.ng etc)
2. You don’t need an agent, it’s straight forward
3. Have you yellow card (if don’t have it get it ready immediately. It’s usually invalid if taken within 10days of travel)
4. Uganda as at 2021 had a visa on arrival option also. Not sure if that still works, you are safer doing the evisa tho
5. If the platform is glitchy, look for an official number to call on the platform
6. Ugandan airways flies directly from Lagos, it’s govt owned so you can reach out to them for info on not just travels but visa
7. I am not an agent, non an authority on this. Just helping out, Do your own research

Ending of May. If you got a card that can pay $50 visa fee, then you good.

my bro.. please is there a site like this for Rwanda? I want to apply for EAST AFRICA VISA. I SAW VISA FEE FOR $100 THE SITE I WAS APPLYING LATER Wrote $219.

You don’t need a visa for Rwanda, just book your flight and go.
