I've come to realize that the reason why many young people (tenants) don't want to live with their landlords is not because they're problematic or will put the house in bad state but because just want to avoid certain things and for the sake of their sanity

Some landlords are even bad belles. The success of their tenant intimidates them, so they monitor your progress and don't want you to grow above them.

Once you starts doing well, you start having issues with them.. These are the kinds of landlords littered everywhere now

I think minimum wage must have been 18k at the time. Now it the total sum is not realized to pay on time, the service may be cut off. If contribution is made on a street to fix a faulty transformer, you'll hear some tenants say until the fault is rectified before they pay, but they'll go and buy fuel for their gen. Who will contribute to fix it for him to now pay later?

I'm happy to live away from tenants but the headache I still get from my tenants where they are elsewhere makes my heart skip whenever they call me. Imagine tenants calling you to come and attend street meeting to discuss security on the street. What if I have several properties scattered about the country? I used to have aunts living in each of my properties but a tenant so harassed one of my aunts till my uncle (her brother) bought a property somewhere and gave her a place there.

I believe she inheritance the property that is how some heritance daughter and sons oppressed tenants.

You're right! Just as we have assholes as tenants, we also have them as landlords

This is usually because it's a guy that would first rush to be holding the female in the guise of seperating both parties
Even if the guy has main goal of seperating both sides,they usually see it as an opportunity to satisfy their touch lust by ensuring they have touched the female parts before the parties decide to give peace a chance or even continue the physical attacks.

Building a house for purpose of renting in Lagos is a waste of scarce capital. Takes an awful long time to recover the money invested, not to mention making profit.

Tenants will pay you the first year rent just to enter. After that Wahala starts.

Imagine a landlady stooping so low to bite a tenant. Her and her husband's respect is out of the window.

Only build a house for rent with money you can afford to miss for years.

As soon as you turned a land Lord.... Have Police Department's number you can always call anytime and there would be response to you..... It's for your peace living....... Same with Tenant, you can also call police on your landlord or Landlady..... Never wrestle with them...
