Both visas are the same, except that the VFS platform has more staff attending to applications than DHA, which makes it faster. VFS is more expensive and has a shorter processing time, while DHA is less expensive and processing time can be up to two months in some cases.

Please for the evisa application, flight booking is required. I haven't booked my flight yet. Is there a way to go about this?

Also they asked for accommodation booking. This has not been done yet. Please how do I go about this? The conference Organizers are doing the arrangements at a hotel but they haven't sent the booking details.

I wan ask one question, because am getting mixed opinions.

My 2year student visa was issued on my old passport that had a six month validity and it shows expiring 30th June but 2 year validity. I have a new passport now, but would I need to transfer the visa to the new passport ( how can I do that) or I can use both passports like that?

Your visa on an expired passport is still valid. Just travel with both passports

Good evening house, my South Africa evisa was granted and its supposed to be from June 26th to July 26th. Unfortunately, I won't be able to go because i won't be granted time off at work until August.

Can I email them to post date the visa again or do I have to reapply for another visa against August when I intend to go?

Big congrats. Can you share with me the documents you submitted? And how long was the processing time?

VFS Appointment and submission: 13th June, 2025
June 20th, got email that applications had been processed and in transit back to VFS for passport delivery.
June 24th, received back passports with sticker visas.

I'm about to reapply now and make payment for a new visa. This current visa expires on July 26 and I'd like to travel by first week of August.

Can I reapply tomorrow so I can know my fate before this current visa expires?

1) how much is current South Africa visa fee for holiday visa in naira?

2) how many months bank statements they accept for holiday visa?

3). Is there application file online or submitted at Vfs office? And also send me there site for application form and appointment site

1. Visa fees + service charge should be around 50k

2. As of recently, you should have ₦1m and above.
