Not sure what you're talking about, but for the blocked account you need the full €11,904 in the account for the visa.
What I mean is
You know some people give out pof (proof of fund) at a rate.
Are there people who give such for block account at a rate too.

Based on the post you quoted, it might depend on the VO who interviews you. I had the option of Biology or basic medical questions ( what is HTN? Questions on CNS and so on), so I was given basic medical questions. They were simple so chill.

CeeCeeO:
Could those who have gone for their interview care to share please? Anything at all.
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Eternaljayy: 10:24pm On Jul 01, 2025
Based on my experience, it was dispatched quickly, about 8 working days too. So chill

cooltony91:
Hi,
Has anyone here else who had their interview this month gotten their passport back? Mine is currently in-transit and seems to be strange to me that my passport is in-transit just after 10 days of interview. I know I have to wait to see what's in the envelop but is this normal?

Ok, that's something. Thank you for the insight. I appreciate. All the best!

Hello everyone,

Has anyone used MAWISTA student health insurance for study visa in Germany? How was your experience with them? I am planning to patronize them because DR-Walter insurance plan is quite expensive for me because I am over 29 years old going for a BEng program.

Hello everyone,

Is there anyone that recently received admission from Trier University of Applied Sciences?

I want to ask, the admission letter requests that I upload my application documents again, after uploading the documents again on the admission portal, how long did it take before getting a response to accept the admission and proceed with enrolment?

52 weeks is still weeks sha. Are we meant to submit or just make sure the application is filled and complete. Cause I couldn't see anywhere to submit. It displayed no new application is accepted, waiting time is more than a year. I just started the process but when I saw that waiting time stuff, I just lost balance

I'm asking because one of the documents to upload in that portal is the blocked account, fees and other things. So, creating blocked account and funding it to able to upload the proof and not getting the appointment or visa on time, to be waiting more than a year would be something else. And this blocked account usually have maintenance fees. That's why I'm asking and trying to confirm. Of course there's no harm in filling it, I plan to complete mine anyways. I guess I'm just trying to lower expectations and avoid disappointment

Yeah, go ahead. Embassy accepts Mawista but when you say you're over 29 - if you're not 30+, you might need a public health insurance, so just be sure. But if you're 30+ , Mawista is a good choice.

Please I need advice from those who have experience with the German visa process.

I applied for a student visa appointment in October 2024 through the RK-Termin link old system, and I never cancelled it. I don’t know if it’s still active or not because I never got any updates.

When the new portal came out I also applied again on the Consular Services Portal.

Now I’m confused — both applications were made with the same passport , and I don’t know if it will count as duplication or cause the German embassy to block me or cancel both.

I have sent an email to the consulate but no response yet.

Please has anyone been in this situation? Should I be worried? Will they automatically cancel both applications or block me?

Any advice would really help. 🙏🏽

Please someone should help greenparrot cheesy
Did you upload all your documents including pof on the new portal?

You have to find a trusted person in Germany to do that for you. It will be faster but still go to the bank in Nigeria. Their charge might be high.
