LASG Commissions Abaranje Road And Dopemu Road, Plans Flyover At Ikotun by Lanrelagboi(op): 4:06am On Jul 03, 2025
Today, we commissioned two major road projects, Abaranje Road in Igando-Ikotun and the newly named Babajide Sanwo-Olu Road in Dopemu.

Abaranje Road used to be nearly impassable. Today, it’s a completely transformed dual carriageway with proper drainage, streetlights, and pedestrian walkways.

In Dopemu, we’ve rebuilt a busy 1.8km road to meet the needs of a growing population and faster traffic flow.

These roads mean quicker commutes, safer walks, better business, and real relief for residents and commuters.

We also visited Ikotun Roundabout, a major traffic trouble spot. We’re planning a flyover there to finally ease the daily gridlock. We’re working on it to get it right.

Alimosho, this is just the beginning, more is coming. We’re not leaving any part of Lagos behind.

This is Tinubu Lagos but nobody from the coalition can showcase their state where they had govern

Is it David Mark that was Niger governor 42yrs ago and senate president for 8 years, both his state and Niger remain backward

Obi left Anambra poverty capital of the world after 8yrs as governor

Even Atiku VP and governor has no tangible achievements in his Adamawa

Should I mention the midget and killer of Christians El-rufai who left Kaduna in great debt with no development

Do we talk of Amaechi a traitor and a rebel

Those six months roads (I understand they're called water-soluble roads), I first saw them in Ogun State under Gbenga Daniels and Ibikunle Amosun. I still call them the ninth wonder of the world.

I've not seen them in Lagos though.

That ikitun fly over will claim hundreds of houses and shops. Ikitun is another congested area.

Good development must always give this one running stomach! Pele o chief pessimist, God will heal you.

Mind you, if you are looking for roads badly constructed roads with substandard materials that will wash away in six months, you will get to your village. this is Lagos, not your state!

The ikotun flyover will cause many cries... As I am trying to wonder how they wanted to achieve such without demolishing people's properties
Re: LASG Commissions Abaranje Road And Dopemu Road, Plans Flyover At Ikotun by MikoB:
Sanwo olu is such a disgrace, you can imagine lagos celebrating 1.2km road ,so many uncompleted roads in lagos ,despite the huge revenue.

How did Obi leave Anambra as poverty capital of the world when NBS had no data of poverty rates per state in 2014.
Oga you are still learning in this game of lies and propaganda, don't go faster than yourself, go and take lessons from your colleagues Legendhero, Helinues and co

In lagos we enjoy good infrastructure that’s why we vote continuity since 1999 we have excellent infrastructure on transport by water rail or brt system something other state with higher allocation didn’t give their state
Lagos train system is better than FG own and no where in west Africa have the quality of blue line rail system

That ikotun round about hold up is another terrible experience. Coupled with activities of agbero and bus drivers. You hardly pass there without your car being scratched after spending hours. It deserves a flyover considering the number of people living in that axis. I think the most populated LGA in nigeria.
Once you say you live in ikotun, nobody would want to visit u because of the holdup grin

what silly hold-ups are you guys even referring to, I agree there is hold up caused by the roundabout but the maximum time you can spend going through the roundabout is about 30 minutes.
Re: LASG Commissions Abaranje Road And Dopemu Road, Plans Flyover At Ikotun by madgoat(m): 7:21am On Jul 03, 2025
The problem with ikotun roundabout is due to the danfo drivers and keke riders who obstruct traffic.
Also get rid of people selling along the roadside and there will be free flow of traffic
