The Hypocrisy is Loud!

So now all the political elders who have failed Nigeria in their own corners are suddenly rallying under ADC not to build, not to impact, but to fight Asiwaju.

United not by vision, but by hate. Ireti, as a sitting Senator of the FCT, joined ADC to make noise yet the children in her own constituency are at home with no schools running. What exactly is she fighting for, if not clout?

Let’s talk about El-Rufai. He was never loved by his people. His time in Kaduna was marked by religious crises and bloodshed worse than what we saw in Benue. But now he wants to rebrand as a saviour?

Dino Melaye? Known more for drama and controversy than any real legislative contribution. A clown in agbada.

And Atiku? The same Atiku accused of turning Customs into a personal ATM, of commercializing governance. This is the one they all flock to when their ambitions fail.

But the biggest heartbreak for me is Peter Obi. The man who once stood on a ‘New Nigeria’ mantra is now comfortably rubbing shoulders with the same political snakes he preached against. For what? To be liked? To stay relevant? To please Atiku?

This new ADC isn’t a movement. It’s a recruitment center for expired politicians who share one common enemy, not one common goal.

Let me remind you all an enemy to the President is an enemy to the Nation.

You can serve Nigeria without holding office. You can bring about change without being on a ballot.

But what do I know? I’m just a young Nigerian who still believes in truth over trend.

What is sure is that many voters will see things his way to include those not from the most embittered ethnic group in the world always harbouring malevolence in their heart for those who best them and thus likely to vote hatefully.

Young, idealist and "woke" Yorubas and Middle-Beltan Obidients for example, like Falz and Macaroni etal, followed Obi because of his appeal as a departure from the old boys who ruined Nigeria.

ADC will lose the vote of young, gullible and idealistic voters who were the mainstsay of Obi because they saw him as different in a nation of rapacious and failed 'old school' Vultures they believe have nothing to offer and must be denied power if Nigeria is to make progress.

I might be wrong but with Mr president’s antecedents it will be foolhardy for any political party to stand alone against a man that holds all the levers of the state.

While this coalition may or may not provide Nigerians the Eldorado they seek it certainly serves the purpose of cutting down to size a megalomaniac president. One who thinks himself an emperor and not public servant. Narcissistic and solipsistic to say the least. Even a volatile Trump is more humane than Tinubu.

While patriotic Nigerians still hope and pray for a time altruistic leadership will emerge, we would applaud any attempt at nipping totalitarianism at its bud.

From my calculations, the likes of Ali Ndume and several northern senators are already making consultations. In Lagos there’s passive aggressiveness towards his style of leadership. The Lagos Assembly saga is still fresh and like wolves the betas are sniffing for blood.

The only option I see for Mr Tinubu is full blown tyranny.
