With the absence of Okowa, shouldn't you be supporting APC?

I stand with the coalition. This comes at a price of my ideological principles.

I became obidient because I hungered for a people-led political revolution that would sweep out the old guard and usher in a new administration of the people, for the people and by the people. Enough of old men robbing is in broad daylight while we hopelessly watched on but it seems that dream has become utterly fanciful.

I am too angry with Peter obi. He thoroughly mismanaged the obidient movement, he has proven to be an ineffectual leader of men and politician, a gross inability to inspire followership. The failings of the labor party rests squarely on obi's shoulder. Better politicians would have grown that movement to be a political power house but what you have is everyone who once genuinely believed in him leaving him one by one. He offers no pathway forward. Yes, he's a man of integrity, yes, he's a brilliant technocrat but you must also be a brilliant politician too to get you to where you can apply your knowledge for the country.

I align with the coalition because I am desperate for the APC to leave power. We are at the brink of a one party state, the same way we feared the total domination of PDP is the same situation arising. I hope the APC is pushed out by the masses so that the leaders would always know that our voices matter.

As it is right now, there is lawless impunity by our leaders because they feel that we do not matter. I hope that changes and I enjoin you all to support the coalition on that basis.
You're a wise man.

Even with that partnership do you really believe tinubu would lose in 2027 now that he's in power?
Anything can happen in an election, The best you can do is to put your best team forward. The best to unseat Tinubu is Atiku as President and Obi as Vice

The worst option is for both to contest in different parties

Is this not the reason why many people threw their weight behind obi cause he was perceived as a lesser evil to the two heavy weights, though everyone still had their own reasons to back him for sure.

Let's see how Spy360 will turn 360 and tell us Obi is not desperate for joining the coalition with Atiku.

There's only two options in 2027; APC and ADC.

Let's assume that all parties keep their figures from 2023. Atiku only needs 50% of Obi's supporters to win.

I strongly believe that everyone already knows where he stands. Obi and Atiku already know where they stand.
This is a start but its not that straight forward

There are PDP governors everywhere, will they all move to ADC? People Like Adeleke won Osun for Atiku in 2023, he wont be there anymore. Where wil the PDP structure fall?
In Osun for example Aregbe is the ADC leader, where does that leave the governor Adeleke?
In Oyo will Makinde also collapse PDP and go into ADC? What of Mbah? Bala Mohamed etc

I am thinking Wike and co will do is float another PDP Presidential candidate say Bala Mohammed or another Northerner

Will Obi be okay with waiting for 8yrs to get his own run at presidency?
El Rufa and the younger Northern politicians for example has been screaming for a Southern presidential candidate in 2027 so people like him wey still young can openly contest in 2031 as Northern candidate with the explanation say South don finish their 8yrs

The chances of the coalition depends on who they want to present as president

No need to dey window dress, we know 2 of them Atiku and Obi want to be presidential candidate. The coalition is about who will get the ticket and how the other part will react to it.

If Atiku gets the ticket, will Obi agree to partner with him on the coalition or move away
If Obi gets the ticket will Atiku agree to partner with him or break away
That is the most important question for the entire coalition

For now, Most of the coalition are Northrners, Will they be Okay with it if Atiku does not win the ticket and fully support Obi

Unlike in the days of APC, It was clear that it was a coalition to give Buhari the platform to be president
All this permutation you just did won't stop Yakubu from doing the needful for Tinubu excepta miracle takes place. Facts.

Anything can happen in an election, well that case hardly applies to Nigeria.
The best chance to have done that anyways was in 2023 not now when the country is almost headed to a one party state, as of today I don't still see tinubu losing the next one.

Your question was if Obidients will vote ADC.

And I'm saying there will be only two viable choices.

Spy360:
This your 'good advice' is not needed.

Already Peter Obi is not desperate to be president.

Atiku is a failed project and he cannot use Peter Obi to launder his image or political career.

If the three candidates return for the next election as the majority contenders, Atiku will be completely lost.

It's either Tinubu wins again through his usual rigging machinery or Peter Obi wins free and fair.
My brother spy360 how market?
I dont analyze politics with emotions you see less than 3 months after this. Obi and Atiku are holding hands. He is even holding hands with elrufai

Is Obi now desperate or what

Flesh and blood didn't reveal this you. Weakling Gej refused to do the needful despite information and advise from top echelon of the party then. Nigerians are paying the price for Gej's weakness today.
Do you believe Jega rigged the election for Buhari or did he just allow the votes to count?

Its pure emotions thinking Yakubu was responsible for Tinubus win. When we could all see it and predict it. Obi sef did not argue that he won the election

Atiku will obviously be the candidate.

Age is not on his side. At least, make e chop one term, and die in peace and joy.

But the South still have another 4 years that is why Obi is even touting one tenure.

Yes majority of Obidients will follow anywhere Obi goes even if he ends up being VP

There might be 2 viable choices but there are distraction choices too that wont win but can spoil things for the challenger. Like Obidients proved to be for PDP last time

Well, there's still a lot of unknowns

If Atiku is the candidate, all Obi needs to do is support the movement, and have 50% follow through.

You can see some even saying the goal is to remove APC irrespective of whoever it is.

As funny as it sounds, nobody drew this unwritten rule

Coalition can say that their strategy is 1 tenure each, and they are zoning according to Geo zones

After Atiku, Obi, Mark, Aregbe, Elrufai...blah blah blah

Leave politicians oh.

A friend who is a journalist and a strong APC supporter told me that Yakubu had successfully received first payment amounting to $100M.

I asked him how that is possible before primaries and he said there’s no need for any primaries because Tinubu will emerge unopposed.

We are just wasting our time in this country. Politicians know exactly how elections are won and they are not how we think it. Voting in 2027 will be an utter waste of time.

Well it's an unwritten gentleman agreement that is solid. I'll even argue it's part of the major reasons the coalition against Jonathan succeeded because many Northerners were aggrieved and believed it was genuinely their turn. If Atiku keep neglecting that, he'll keep on losing. Qouta system and my turn sentiment is still well and truly alive in n Nigeria.

somehow - you saw a two term underperforming governor who you had personally cursed as a revolutionary?

a 63 year old man was somehow new fresh blood and ideas?

and you somehow thought that he would do something different from what he did before - use and dump the party that elevated him?

"I don’t yet see anyone in this coalition who can scheme and plan over 16 years. With all due respect to Atiku, he has contested consistently—this will be the seventh time. But tell me: is there anyone else in the coalition who will say, “Let it be the other person, and I will support them”? I’m yet to see that. Everyone seems only interested in their own candidacy.

"But what did Tinubu do? He invested in Buhari, unreliable as Buhari was. He backed him—and after Buhari, he took over. He stayed committed for 16 years and took it in 2023.

"Tinubu gave Atiku the ACN in 2007. Gave it to Ribadu in 2011. Backed Buhari in 2015. And waited until 2023 to take it himself. I’m saying: to defeat this phenomenon called Tinubu, you must do the unthinkable.

"If this coalition—which I recognise—thinks it’s business as usual, it won’t work. It has to be less about individual ambition and more about Nigeria. More action, less talk. Because talk is cheap..."

Leave elder to be chatting shiiit.

Anybody who see him typing would think Jega an INEC Chairman appointed by Jonathan rigged for APC the opposition.

He just wants to rewrite history as if Jonathan didn't actually lose the election in good faith.

Even Jonathan himself won't claim he was rigged out of the 2015 elections.
