You do not know what it means for one to grow up missing one of the parents. It may not be about support. It is the same reason people who were adopted into a wealthy home, when they grow up, still go back searching for their real mother or father

It's tough enough in Russia as it is without being 'burdened' by being a indigenous black or mixed-race, so let's cut the guy some slack! Assuming he is not yet successful in life as you suggest, the question then arises....had he been given the emotional and financial support growing up, is it possible his situation would be different today?
