Good morning. Please I want to ask if you submitted English language proficiency test as a Nigerian while applying for this programme as I intend to apply when the next application portal opens. Thank you

guten morgen, there is an update portal to book an appointment, you will need to upload all required documents, admission letter and block account inclusive. The waiting time is 2-8weeks now on that portal. So be prepared

As long as you can show a valid means of identification, you'll get an affidavit from any Court in Nigeria. Either Magistrate or High court. Just walk in and meet a lawyer. The document is all that matters.

Please don't be tempted to let someone else do this for you(using intermediary). 3 persons I know of this year got a rejection for both Chancenkarte and study visa because the affidavit is fake.

Starting from next month, you can no longer do a remonstration regarding visa rejections to Germany. This means that you can't ask for a second review. Instead, you have to go to court(this will take more than a year). So let everyone be careful making German applications going forward

Not really. A letter from your University would do. But it's a competitive one.

In a situation that a person document is not complete and the Embassy didn't respond to the rescheduling mail on time and the person go for the interview what will you advice the person to do? @Hannania

Any update on appointment dates? Have they moved from October 12th?

I think they are still in October 2023 but not sure of the particular dates. Booked November 2023 though.

Don't try it oooo. Keep sending a reminder email daily while quoting the first email. That's because if you go with incomplete documents, it's 80/20 chance . The former being that they'll ask you to go and reapply, the latter will be that a kind VO will give you time to update (this has stopped lately).

What if i don't go at all?, cause the document missing is my confirmation letter, I am still gathering the BA money.

Or I print out the mail i sent that they didn't respond too along with me.

Apply to other schools too. That particular program is for summer semester only. All the best!

Has anyone who applied recently on the new portal gotten appointments date without scholarship, B2 in German or PHD admission?
Because my portal is still showing waiting time of 1+ year. Please let us know
