Does this really work? Meanwhile, if it does work, what is responsible for that? Is it spiritual, nature or what exactly? I am only curious for knowledge sake. I have heard about this before.

Just boil one or two chickens eggs and keep away the rest of raw eggs and allow the snake to swallows those cook eggs. That all they will go and kill themselves and never returns to your poultry.

Those are all myths originating from the fact that the snake as you can see in the picture is circled around the eggs. That's why the ancients said that the snake "protects" or "saves." It's a metaphor!!

Snake and Satan has nothing to do in common.
"The serpent" is only a metaphor for Satan's nature; cunning and deceitful.
Leave the animal alone

Snakes are repelled by the smell of petrol, but obviously great care must be taken when sprinkling petrol around any structure due to the fire risk.

Secondly, planting tobacco plants is REPORTED to also be a good repellent of snakes. Nothing to lose by planting lots of tobacco plants all around the poultry.

Thirdly, hard boiled eggs left with fresh ones in a poultry, when swallowed by a cobra, will choke the snake to death because the usual process whereby the snake slams its upper body on the ground to break swallowed eggs, will NOT work on hard boiled eggs, thus leading to the cobra choking to death.

Fourthly, a spitting cobra can be hooked like a fish with the trick of drilling a small hole in the fresh egg, and inserting a fishing hook attached to a length of nylon fishing line, inside that hole in the egg, which is then sealed with a few drops of candle wax. The egg is then placed where the snake has been observed, whereby the snake will swallow the egg, and wind up hooked like a fish and ready to be shot dead.

Finally, my preferred method of dealing with snakes is a shotgun blast from a range of more than 20 feet, so that the shooter is out of range from the acidic saliva of spitting cobras as shown in the photos above.
