He (state government) offered doctors 60% increase to their salaries, the doctors wanted a 100%.
The doctors went on strike and called off the strike agreeing to 60% increase Peter Obi had originally offered.


Your main question should be were doctors paid while they were on strike?

The doctors did not want a 100% increase don't say what you don't know. The doctors wanted him to implement the CONMESS salary structure in line with the NSIWC guidelines, the state Govt refused to budge and insisted on only implementing a 60% increase, kinda like what Buhari was trying to do with IPPIS so please leave talk for Verydarkman and tell us why he did not want to pay striking Doctors for 13 months, at the end of the day just like it was with H.E. Gen. Sani Abacha GCFR, when hunger don catch protesters finish dem go align 🙃

I patiently went to look for a doctor's account of the event during that period. Thankfully this doctor was in anambra state.

During the strike, Obi paid the doctors their salary and even after the 60% was agreed, the doctors were given back dated payments for the duration of the strike.
