Op, let's check the number. For the analysis, we will assume that Tinubu will complete his current tenor by 2027.

OBJ - (SW) 1999 - 2007: 8 years
Yardua (NW) 2007 - 2010: 2 years
GEJ (SS) 2010 - 2015: 6 years
Buhari (NW) : 2015 - 2023: 8 years
Tinubu (SW): 2023 -2027 4 years.

By 2027, the number will be as follows:
South: 8+6+4 = 18 years
North: 2+8 = 10 years

So, the North can demand another 8 years to even out to the South 8 years advantage. So the South can not complain.

But he wanted to be president till 2019. So obviously zoning is no longer an issue. It is not in the constitution of the country.
