I created an emergency request but I have been unable to find it anywhere on the platform.
Is there anywhere I can find it to at least know if it has been approved.

Also has anyone been able to get an emergency request granted since the appointment resumption?

Next available slots are July 2026..over one year from now. Most people will have to defer since I've only heard of one emergency request approval.

I arrived the embassy today for my interview only to see that my name was asterisk in red and I was denied interview and I was given a paper to go and update my ds 160 again as the barcodes don't tally and reschedule another appointment. At this point I am totally. I don't even know what to do again. I need help

The US released a new memo some while back

Dear U.S. Visa Applicant,

Starting April 22, 2025, all visa applicants in Abuja and Lagos must bring a DS-160 visa confirmation page with a barcode number (starting with AA and followed by 00 – two zeroes) that matches the one used to make their appointment online. You also must schedule your appointment in the location you selected when filling out your DS-160.

If the barcode number on your DS-160 form does not match the one you used to book your appointment, you will not be allowed to enter the Consular Section or attend your visa interview, hence you should reschedule your appointment, if your DS-160 barcode does not match the one your appointment.

If your DS-160 confirmation page shows a location that does not match that of your scheduled interview, you will not be allowed to enter the Consular Section or attend your visa interview.

The barcode on both my DS 160 and confirmation letter are the same thing. They are both carrying the same number.

Did you put a certain location while filling your ds160 and then chose another location while booking an appointment? (E.g you put Lagos as your location in your ds160 and then picked an interview date for Abuja)

football. Most Universities are no longer requesting SAT's ...but it will depend on the Uni. My process was smooth because after the coach offered me the scholarship, he was able to take care of most of the processes on campus.
Yes, make a high quality highlight video that showcases your skills well..also provide high quality full game footage. It's very straight forward since most coaches contacts are online..there are also people who sell a whole combined list, which can save you alot of time since you can mass message the coaches.
