I’m planning to get a phone as a gift for someone really special not necessarily a flashy device, but something reliable, nice-looking, and smooth to use.

Budget is around ₦220,000 max, but I’d love to get the best value possible within that range.

Here’s what I’m hoping to find in the phone:
– Strong battery (5000mAh or more, if possible)
– Good camera for video calls and pictures
– At least 128GB storage or more
– 6GB RAM or higher (for smooth use)
– A clean, sleek design (they’re into aesthetics a bit lol)

The person mostly uses social media (YouTube, TikTok, WhatsApp), but they also do some light editing and like taking pictures. No heavy gaming or anything.

I’ve been scrolling Instagram and Jumia but all the options are starting to look the same. Some even have the same specs with ₦50k difference. I don’t mind an underrated phone brand as long as it delivers. I just don’t want to regret it after buying.

they should give you the best processor for that budget. You can up the budget a bit and look at google pixel 7 or 6.

My recommendation is a Google pixel 6.

I currently have a very clean uk used Google pixel 6 available for N250k.

Still thinking on which one to get it's only Tecno product have use

You might want to look at devices with at least 6 or 8GB RAM and a decent chipset so it stays smooth over time

If you’re open to realme, they have options with large batteries and smooth displays in this range.

Great idea to crowdsource opinions before buying. Hope you find something that fits perfectly. Lots of choices these days!
