1) name one country that has banned Nigerians from entry and provide the url of the govt agency that indicate this ban

The headline is misleading and conflating overcrowding of prisons with the percentage of non South AFricans in prison. They are independent of each other and not causal but when you put them side by side you want us to believe that foreigners commit more crimes that locals so you can demonize them.



The fact remains that the overwhelming majority of migrants do not commit crimes in SA when comparing the percentages of migrant prisoners to their overall population size.

Tell Gayton and the PAtriotic alliance not falling for right wing propaganda.



Disclaimer; I continue to acknowledge that there is a migrant problem in South Africa and this needs to be addressed by regularization, border control and deportations. The rest of these flimsy justifications are Kaak

Stop being in denial. This has nothing to do with some conspiracy theory, Gayton, the PA party, or the tooth fairy.. Some of our prisons having more foreigners than locals, it's according to the findings of the Correctional Service Committee, which is the Government! Nothing to do with an individual party here. you desperately want to push this victim narrative where foreigners are these helpless victims facing "xenophobic" backlash, this played-out card won't work with me. Overcrowding of prisons and certain prisons having more foreigners than locals are two very different things. I'm certain our government is privy enough not to conflate the two

People often form opinions based on reading a million new headlines (not the articles, only the headlines) and then absorbing those that feed their confirmation bias. Such people are the most vulnerable to social programming.

The quoted lines above are prime example of this phenomena. Ofcourse a single look at the cold, hard data can often bust these myths and social programming. In this case, you claim that India, like South Africa, has the highest HIV and grape rates in the world.

HIV rate (as % of total population):
South Africa: 14.4%
Nigeria: 2.2%
USA: 0.4%
India: 0.2%

R@pe rate (per 100,000 inhabitants)
South Africa: 69.5
USA: 41.4
India: 2.6
Nigeria: 0.3

The aforementioned r@pe rates have two confounding factors that lower reliability of data:
1.) Tendency to not report the crime to the police.
2.) Tendency to file false police complaints, reporting a crime where none happened.

But the data on HIV rates is solid.

Try to build your opinions on the bedrock of reality rather than the quicksand of prejudice.
