Why not replace written paper submission with oral defence so the ideas are forced to pass through the brain of the the students and not just from Internet to paper. |

Hypnotise:I did ElectEng in University in a system where all of our exams were either open notes, open book(where the student was allowed to bring any written text into the exam hall and use any information contained in aforementioned text to his aid in completing the exam) or the student was allowed one self written "cheat-sheet"(here, the student is allowed to write any and all information(equations, identities e.t.c) that he believes will help him in the examination). Now here's the paradox: If you found yourself having refer to any of the literature that you were allowed to bring into the exam hall then you were almost certainly going to fail the exam. In the system that I schooled in, actually understanding the course-work was far more valuable than rote-memorizing, and here's where oral examinations can be important. While any half-wit can copy down something that they got from the ChatGPT every single one of them, without exception, will fail when they are forced to face an oral defense panel. |

Alusiizizi:In oral examination, some students might suddenly experience stage fright or loss of memorised material, starts to panic. Some subjects are well suited to oral rendition, like law, however some other subjects do need complex calculations to show workings, physics. |

Hypnotise:In an interview, I was asked to ideate a process and present it in PowerPoint. I started by sketching my ideas in pen and paper, capturing each imaginative leap in real time, and translated the fleshed-out workflow into slides. During the review, the evaluators singled out my handwritten notes as a validation of how an inventive mind should work. Handwritten narratives should never be swept away, especially in the academia. |

blamingthedevil:This is what I saw coming more than 10 years ago! The worst hit would be third world countries who will now be doubly enslaved with knowledge by human and machine. Those who've read the book: intellectual slavery, can attest to where I warned that when white people invent this thinking machine, we'll be taken further backward. That's exactly what's happening now. AI isn't a good thing unless you ALREADY know what you're doing. Using AI to write an exam is like someone who doesn't know how to drive a car entering a driver-less car to get to a destination, then claiming that he/she knows how to drive. The real test would be when you test the person to drive in real time. That's when you'll realize they don't know how to drive. The same goes for those writing exam with AI. You begin to imagine what the fate and future of society with such people would be like. AI is very helpful for research only. Still, you must cross-check. NB: Oral examination may be a fix as some people suggested but that's like being half wise. The ultimate solution is to re-think how exams should occur. The old pre-digital era is gone. Educators must embrace a "real time" digital type of examination, whereby students write in an internet-less computer, and their input screen monitored in a room. |

Hypnotise:Nothing could be further from the truth, trust me, from my first hand experience. Keep in mind that an oral exam for any hard-science or engineering is not an audition for some role in entertainment, where stage fright is real. For a technical oral examination stage fright simply does not exist, period! You either understand the material and in which case can describe it coherently and with confidence or you do not understand it, in which case, you become anxious and resort to uttering gobbledy gook before oral examination panel. |

As our planet advances towards becoming Tier 1 planetary civilization with China leading the way, the old structures of information control is destined to crumble, irrespective of all efforts to stay useful. Schools: Education will be via AI, and exams will not be the true test of knowledge but what you can do with the knowledge, therefore, knowledge acquisition will be fully online and life-long and not confined to commercial education. School owners will eventual convert those structures to factories. Religions (Churches, Mosques, Ashrams, Temples, Synagogues: These ones will become ashamed of themselves when people finally realize that these places do not provide accurate information about Spirit, and the civilization that created humanity have ascended to greater civilization and do not need humanity to worship them, but are basically harvesting energies of humanity and the planetary systems to power their civilizations and their magical consciousness technologies. Religions will realize it was a scam. Hospitals will give way to healing centers not programming humanity for profits with con level health re-engineering. Once you know how to read and write, you have no business sitting down in a class and memorizing, just get the syllabus and outline and go home to read and get tested. Primary/Secondary/University Education (all their courses) shouldn't take more than 1 year to study and graduate. I see a future with a 10 years old with multiple PhDs. |

No single solution will fully eliminate AI cheating. The most realistic and effective approach combines: In-person, handwritten exams for high-stakes asessments. Process-focused assignments and oral evaluations. Education on ethical AI use. Selective use of digital detection tools. |

Oyibo man finish work for generative AI tools. If AI could do all this in 2025, only God knows what AI would do in 2040. Given the rate at which governments and companies are investing in AI research and development, that technology will render humans useless by 2070. |
