Such a pity. I liked him at the beginning but I later realized that was because I was only seeing one aspect of him, namely his opposition to the forced gender terminology of trans people. I was also very opposed to that so everything he said resonated with me.

But the minute he began to have debates with people like Sam Harris on societal and existential issues, I began to see him more holistically and clearly. He hadn't even come out then as borderline white supremacist.

As of today, he has lost so much integrity, goodwill and respect which he initially had. It's such a shame.

It taught me a lesson. Not to jump to conclusions about anyone because you strongly agree with their views on one subject.

On the other had I don't think it requires legislation. It's like setting up a law to stop people from saying "Fųck You", it's extreme for what I think is a courtesy issue. Jordan Peterson in my opinion was entirely too combative about it to the point LGBTQ haters had him as their prophet. Not somebody I want to give my time listening to.

I am an atheist. I do not believe there are no gods, I know there are no gods. Worship is devotion. God made every human with a spirit and that spirit worships just like the brain thinks. Humans always look for something or someone to worship. Who or what you devote your life to is your object of worship. To some like me, it's God. To others, it can be money, self, fame, a goal, another man, education, science, a subject, a job, or some other god.

I want to agree with you but find it odd that a God will make humans with a spirit that worships, and them let them go and create their own gods to worship.

My Yoruba ancestors worshipped gods of iron and thunder and sopona and the River Owala, until foreigners convinced some their Allah or Yahweh created them.

i mention the Bible because it is central to religion and it's discuss. Bible will be mentioned and quoted in a Christianity or religion section of a forum, that's common sense. Your posts cannot be busy talking about God and Jesus and not giving a hoot. i or most Christians will not likely come discuss Bible with you where you're discussing family or US politics. It definitely has, and I believe religion is just another round of colonization by Europeans to keep the black race down.

If I must worship something, I would rather worship my ancestors than the ancestors of Jewish or Arabic people. India's religion is Hinduism, and their gods look like them. Japan has Shintoism. China follows Buddhism. But the African god is portrayed as a blue-eyed European, with a recycled Bible written by middle-aged goat herders and filled with inconsistencies.

All the angels are depicted as white, while the closest resemblance to Africans in the Abrahamic religions is the devil. I honestly feel terribly ashamed of the things I used to believe as a Christian—talking snakes, the sun standing still, the flood, the rapture... and the list goes on.
