Good morning nairalanders,

Please my son is 7 years old and i look into the future for him.He is presently in Grade2 and he is doing very fine .

He is so smart and agile .He is brilliant as well.

I am already looking into thefuture for him as i want him to be independent as early as he gets into JSS1 .

What job can he start learning now or when he is older(let us say 9 years )?What IT course will be good for him so he can start earning income for himself before he gain admission into tertiary institution where he will be able to sponsor himself.

I want to get him to learn

The biggest of them all should be IT ?What type of IT fetches more money and can make him a millionaire before he is 15

JSS 1 is a bit early to be talking about independence. At that time he may not even know what he wants to do in life. dont be like our parents that insisted on Law, medecine, Engineering or accounting.

That said, introducing him to tech is not a bad idea. Pick any area and let him start as he gains knowledge and udnerstanding you can figure out his preferences.
Programing and robotics readily come to mind as something he should be interested in.

However, pipe down on the pressure if you are applying it lest he burn out.
