VaginaAcademic:And that's the reason they can do what they want. They made their country great, you can as well make yours. Don't tell them how to run their country, when your people and government make a nuisance of themselves wherever they go |

laivwire:No be juju be that? . If it was BRICS and Other African nations that came up with this policy, it would be heart breaking considering the business opportunity they avail, but the usa? This is mostly a reciprocity play to mirror what is obtainable when applying for Nigerian visa. It doesn't skip a beat in the grand scheme of things. Remote interaction (social and work related) should suffice as new normal/ alternative for those such may apply to. God speed to those who seek opportunity there. Also for fellow Nigerians; "acting smart", thinking for self alone in and outside the shores of these land rubs off on everyone. Ultra High networth individuals and political class always have their own set of rules they play by.When next you are overstaying your visa or trying to screw someone else over, remember you are screwing up someone else's chance in the future. Vive l'Nigeria |

Tychost:Consider Nigerians especially students going to USA to study this has nothing to do with Trade... Ghana 🇬🇭 doesn't do much trade with USA but the government is considerate especially to Ghanaian students going to study in the USA... Everything shouldn't be war and fight |

SpatialKing:I don’t need to consider anything here mate, this is literally talking about tourist visa, it has no bearing on many other forms of visa including the student one. Do you know how long it even takes to get an interview for a tourist visa with a very high possibility that you will not be given. This is just posturing meant to target the Nigerian elites who are the ones granted this kind of visa anyway. The poor man’s child still has to cough up the exorbitant tuition fees to be even considered for visa, and that has not changed as long as you are there for the purpose of study. Ghana has a much lower population compared to Nigeria and it’s citizens are less likely to overstay their visas in the US, that’s all their is to it. |

Tychost:No country not even any BRICs country offers full fully funded graduate programs to Nigerian students like USA does... Is not every student that goes to USA to school that pays tuition fees... If you don't want poor man child to go consider those with scholarships |

SpatialKing:It’s ridiculous to even engage in this back and forth when even China offers thousands of scholarships to Nigerians who are qualified to fill those positions. 90% of Nigerians that goes to the US pay full tuition fees with no assistance from the US government. Again I will hold your hand while I say this, “this policy does not affect students visa applicants” whoever said not to allow poor children to go? Brush up on your comprehension skills |

You are giving their citizens 3 months single entry visa, and they decide to retaliate because you went and joined BRICS. Now you are here running your mouths. ![]() |

SpatialKing:What issues do you have with the USA 🇺🇸?. A country that released a tariff threat at you because it knows you are aligning with the best economies of the world. You had better wake up and start thinking about your country first, before you listen to other economic killer countries. Nigeria has done nothing to deserve the 3months. |

SpatialKing:Mallam you re wrong. Its not just about BRICS, but the brazen lawlessness and disregard for the lives of the citizens of the country, the fact that some Nigerians have abused their visa privileges by engaging in unlawful activities abroad. Trumps ice block is working. What are we looking for in Brazil? Cocaine? |

jaxxy:Stop blabbing. China needs America so as to buy her products. It’s not like China is dependent financially on the US. China is producing a lot more than the US, and shelves in the US will be empty without import from China. In fact China buys the US debt and not the other way round. US debt is unsustainable. It is growing at a dangerous proportion and now countries that are giving loan to the US are demanding for higher interest on their money while the US dollar is 10% weaken against British pounds sterling and 15% against Euro. US is waning economically. |

VaginaAcademic:Actually I don’t think they are, I think they know we don’t value ourselves (or at least our govt doesn’t) and as such can do us any how. as for the rest I totally agree with you. for the visa issue they are simply reciprocating our policy of 3 months single entry visa for their citizens all the while they’ve been giving us a lot more. Do me I do you kind of thing |
