How many geopolitical zones do we have in the country? The term middle-belt is agenda pushed by some groups in NC with dubious motives

Because Tinubu worked for Abacha they want to force us to accept that Peter Obi did so too.

That's because they want to spin Tinubu as a fighter for democracy whereas he was a friend of the tyrant antidemocratic forces. Even NADECO rejected him.

I think having 4 kids at age 32 inside this economy is a whole lot.

If he were to be over 40 years of age, I would want to understand that he probably had all 4 kids before the last 6 years which was Buhari's second term + Tinubu's first 2 years. One can cut him some slack that he never saw this coming.

I don't see why anybody should be having more than 3 kids with that kind of income in this current economy if such person wants to really have savings o. This one no be matter of " I love kids"

In Nigeria, if you’re not popping out kids like rabbits, people think something’s wrong with you. My big bro has been married for over 11 years, has one child, well-educated, doing well, yet relatives still talk trash behind his back like he’s defective. All because he chose to be intentional about parenthood. I'm literally the only one in the entire family who gets him. Truth is, most Nigerians hate structure and planning. They treat kids like furniture, just keep having them without thinking about the future. It’s madness masked as culture.

In this present day and with what is going on with our economy, it makes no sense having more than 3 kids except u are comfortably rich.....

I mean if u have plans for Ur kids to attend good private schools at primary and secondary school level ; and a good private uni like Covenant, Babcock etc to avoid ASUU strike ; then having as much as 4 kids is not advisable at all.

Your bro is a wise man who knows what he is doing. I'm sure some of those people talking trash behind his back would always call on him for financial assistance for their own nuclear family needs. Yet, they still won't see that he's only able to render helping hand because his responsibilities on childcare is minimal.

Somebody shared the paylsip of a professor (CONUASS 7) on Twitter. He said Tinubu added 40k to this from what it was in 2023 which the payslip was dated(allegedly o, I don't know how true that is)

I am tempted to ask : All those professors wey dey use big SUVs, where dem dey see money buy am?

I can understand professors in professional courses like Medicine, engineering, law, etc engaging in private practise which can fetch them good income that will supplement whatever they earn from the university system, but what about professors in fields like Languages, Religious studies , history, library studies, etc?

Loans na. They have cooperatives in school that they take loans from.
Most of the lecturers with cars bought them through loans.

Yeah. Back then I knew few lecturers who did it, I think the money is taken from their salary directly. I don't really remember much, but it seemed like the school authorities were the ones overseeing the cooperative. So, you can't possibly default unless FG doesn't pay salaries.

They seek and get lots of foreign research grants as well running into thousands of dollars, which they even end up using school resources to carry out, no lecturer wey sabi him way dey depend on salary from FG sef……that Hilux you’re seeing sometimes even follows the grant

Yes, there's an improvement but our FX earnings is still tied to the price of crude.

Progress but more work to be done.

That means they have an arrangement similar to what teachers in government school have.

I know when I was in secondary school our teachers belonged to cooperatives in which they crowd-fund to get food items and home appliances in bulk at wholesale prices.

A middle belt man from kogi, trying too hard to belong with hausa and fulanis...that most people here thought he is one of them.
