You are mixing it up.
Dollar is never high or low. Dollar is always stable while it is naira that is unstable.
What you get for $10 five years ago may still be $10 today. Na naira for change compared to dollar wey fit be #5,000 five years ago and now it is #25,000.
So dollar is always stable.
If Dangote still want to rebuild his refinery he may still spend that exact money in dollar but X5 in Naira or more

They abandoned the licences because the business was not viable then. They are all coming back now because of the reforms.

Dangote have proven that petroleum refining is possible in Nigeria despite decades of inefficiencies, negligence and gross misconducts in state owned refineries.

Dangote took the bull by the horn and now others are getting onboard.

This is great and we can only hope for sustained achievements and more of such investments to come.

I talk am, this is becoming real business and the real business people are coming in.
Let the same thing happen in electricity sector and in less than 4 years, you will see light everywhere in Nigeria. Remove subsidy, remove estimated billing, let people choose when and how they use there light
