The party guidelines can require aspiring delegates to publicly declare their preferred candidates before election so that party members know who to vote for as delegate. That's how it's done in the US where we learnt democracy from.

I wrote about it here: https://www.nairaland.com/8464017/what-like-how-us-chooses
Equating naija and us election is not same delegate they collect money

The issue here is that nobody wants to think deeply, I do not like BAT but I can tell you point blank that he is not responsible for the current suffering in this county. It has been coming a long time ago, even okonjo was shouting it from the mountains and this crook amaechi who is now a savior ganged up against her plans. Buhari killed the country with his gang of aboki thieves printing money and generating billions from bdc alone.

Tinubu played a role here because he knew what the consequences would be if an incompetent Buhari entered but I guess his greed overlooked the collateral damage. Gej was a visionless leader as well who had no control of his goverment and allowed thieves run him out. atiku and his disgruntled band cannot do any better than BAT .Anyone telling you stories is just building castles in thin air, it's all about taking advantage of people's emotions and grabbing power at any cost.
I get you. But here is the problem. You still dont understand the truth about the damage BAT has done to the economy. You dont understand that its a wholesale implementation of IMF Policies from the 70s and 80s which have never worked for any third world country. There is not a singular President in our history who has devastated our economy this much with the wholesale adoption of antiquated and imperialist IMF Policies.

Aside from this BAT has serious dictatorial tendencies. Just look at the unconstitutional suspension of a governor. He has very serious "emperor" tendencies which are even beyond anything we have seen.

If you wish to have an Obi, please be strategic. BAT himself was deeply strategic by waiting for PMB to go ahead of him for a good 8 years. Anyone who wants Obi to be president and is willing to destroy a coalition for that is not strategic. Do you really think that after BAT is done he will not install a puppet with all the absolute power you will have accorded him. Be strategic. You say people are not thinking deeply but it seems to me that you are the one not thinking deeply here. Pls think.

I said it that u people will learn a very bitter lesson of your life in 2026

Shebi na 2023 b d first time wey Una vote abi?

This time u will know the meaning behind f delegates n understand that delegates aren't online noisemakers but career Politicians who need dollars.

U can see PDP collapsing it's structure into ADC n hope u know those same delegates of PDP will have a great say in ADC?

U people will learn d hard way
and so what? What next if Atiku wins after buying delegates? How does that relate to him winning Tinubu? You guys don't learn. Same thing that happened to Atiku in PDP in 2023 will happen to him again in 2027, if he likes he should continue wasting his money buying delegates, he will loose and continue to loose the general election and will never be president

With these obstacles, shouldn't you be happy? Why are you bothered about Obi and you never talk about Atiku
dequir:
Obi has a lot at stakes against him. At LP, Abure is a big obstacle for him to overcome to become their presidential candidate. At ADC, Atiku is another eminent obstruction to him winning the party consensus mandate as the presidential face.

So let him overcome these before you start boasting of him winning Tinubu at the election.

Only President Tinubu enjoys support across North and South regions.

Give Atiku the ticket. Tinubu wins South West, South South, North Central and gets significant votes in North East, North West and South East zones.

Give Peter Obi the ticket...Tinubu loses South East, share votes in South South and North Central, wins North West, South West, and North East.

No formula will defeat Tinubu in 2027.
Delululuism is allowed 🙏🙏🙏

The missing link here is trust, I will take 10 Wikes before 1 Atiku + elrufai. I cannot trust men who supervise wide scale murder or delete a post condemning the killing of an innocent girl especially with the recent craze of herdsmen running freely in the north so they can keep strategizing but I am out

Atiku, Tinubu, and Obi are all birds of the same black feathers seeking and using power to enrich themselves, and their generations. They are never for the suffering masses, therefore I am not for anyone of them. But I am only depicting to you the stark political reality standing against your empty boast.

This is a very simple matter. If Peter Obi is truly the only acceptable candidate, he should show that right from the primaries! Or are you people afraid ni? Why the call for one to step down for the other?

Obi is your nemesis.

But that same zoning was the reason why you left PDP and formed a coalition with others which created the monstrous APC!
You left because there was the belief that it should have been zoned to the North!
But now you are doing the same thing you had previously accused GEJ!
Finally, must you become president by force?
You have been contesting since 1993 till date in different parties!
Just come to the conclusion that it was never meant to be and that its best to support a southern candidate!

Its because you know Obi is different

Why can't Atiku relax and act as a elder state man?
He has achieved a lot in life. Humans can act very funny.
Let the younger Nigerians enjoy good governance for once.
I just feel all these is just to divide votes and the country continues in it's old ways.

If Atiku insists on contesting, it's his constitutional right. However, he should know that he cannot win the election without a strong candidate form the South. That's why he needs to work with Peter Obi.

Atiku is more likely to spend just one tenure in office because he will be 80 years by 2027 and canvas the north to vote for a Southern candidate after his tenure.
wetin you smoke ? So in other words let’s PO vice the greedy Cameroonianhuh You are serious , it’s the south turn , let him go and rest

The youths are not even ready, but last election really awaken the consciousness of the youths to take election seriously.
Majority of those politicians have enjoyed. My point is that Atiku ideology of life is same with other prominent politicians.
He won't do anything different. After previous election he went abroad to relax.
If we are sincere to ourselves, we all know who amongst them can deliver good governance.
But religion and tribalism won't allow people do the right.
We are not ashamed of ourselves that majority of our youths are all blogging on Japa destinations.
Yet we are rich as a nation.
This is how our older generation failed in uplighting the nation.
Was it not same period other Asian nations were developing their countries?
All we know is just how to play the game of politics and archaic act of thuggery.
Same anyhow mentality that have destroyed our higher institutions with cultism and other social vices.
