Tactically asides botafogo one team that got it right tactically against PSG in this tournament was Bayern..(before musiala got that injury)....The truth is PSG is quite good but they can be beaten ...against Bayern they couldnt play out of pressure for almost the whole first half...and what Bayern did was simple...."Go 1v1 aggressively on them" ...they made sure they went totally physical and aggressive on with each player and pressed strategically ...

Madrid was rubbish today ....even their press was poor ...but in the second half they got little courage and started pressing and going 1v1 with the psg players ..and resultantly started winning more balls till the 4th goal placed the final nail on them


On Sunday PSG will be playing a much different side with better 1vs1 players. .they have the edge cos they have been winning games since champions league which is a boost of confidence...but Chelsea will give them a far better game that this Madrid

Just give it time, and you'll see billionaires begin to invest in the French league and creating powerhouses. That's when everyone would realise that there's really nothing special about teams from Spain, England, Italy, e.t.c.

Ranking of leagues is not based on who is doing better in UCL , PSG dominating Europe does not translate to six other clubs in their league doing likewise in Europe .
Quality is the key factor here . Which league has the most high calibre attackers and high calibre attacking play across all board , same for defence , goalkeeping , midfield , top managers , top referees , tactics , technics , competitiveness, viewership , and this last factor is key as it is as a result of all the other indices put together . Quality leagues and higher quality leagues attract viewership and higher viewership respectively and so it's no co-incidence that the quality league s pull in more cash from sponsors and TVs than the lesser quality ones . And surely , the quality of top talents pulled by the premiership , even though by far the highest as it is , would have triple if not for Brexit that has hindered work permit for some EU footballers . The EPL is not raking in more money than the la-liga, serie A and French league combined because the Broadcast companies and major sponsors don't see any difference in quality as you choose to believe .

So what does that tells you. And even the one Marseille won, there was controversy surrounding it.
