Hello good morning,

Please, those that have completed the Consular portal, after filling the form, videx and uploading the documents, was there a submit button to click or the application submitted automatically?

For those doing normal study visa, not specific requirements like PhD, language or scholarship
You will be given an option to join the waitlist

Hello @WinnyNelly,

For your school reports, what and what did you include? Cause I see in the description, "...including all primary and secondary school records." I find the primary school strange especially if one's applying for masters or PhD. Isn't junior bece, secondary school and waec, together with one's bachelors degree transcript sufficient enough? In the school reports, I upload primary and secondary testimonials, first school leaving certificate and WAEC cert.

One of your parents in ondo has to go to the high court with a valid identity ( international passport, NIN, or driving license) where his or her signature shows and make a declaration of age for you
Okay, thanks for the clarification. Please I have an affidavit for declaration of age signed by my father but it was last year the date carry because I was thinking then that my AD will come, I hope I can still use it at the embassy this year.

You can use Grey App. It allows you to convert your naira to euro and send the euro to your school’s bank account

Check Google and YouTube, your answer to these questions are there.

Meanwhile, go to your bank and ask for the process of opening a Euro domiciliary account, and open it immediately, for your own personal needs.

Name of the school you are going to, location, course of study, why did you choose that school, is the course not offered in Nigeria? Why Germany. Name of German chancellor and president. Cities etc. Lastly note that the decision to grant your visa is not from the consulate here in Lagos but in German after your documents has been gone through and verified. So make sure you submit the right documents and pray.

For maths, the questions will probably be basic stuff, you can expect questions in economics too I guess.

Follow the checklist provided by the consulate in the link below.

Be calm, as long as you're the perosn going to Germany, the questions are basic and natural. You'll do well

Yes, in 2025, your affidavit must come from a high court with it's new letterhead. The old version typed out on an A4 would be rejected. Either of your parents or the head of your family would go along with you with a government issued ID card (NIN, voters card also acceptable) to get it done.

Whoever signs your affidavit is whose details you would go with to the embassy for your interview.

If one of your parents deposed your declaration of age, you'll bring an ID containing the deponent's signature along with you to the visa interview.

Or

If your declaration of age was sworn by anyone who stands as the head of your family, you'll attend the visa interview with an ID showing their signature, AND (1) death certificate or (2) letter of illiteracy from one of your parents.

Someone has to depose your declaration of age at a high court, and it can't be you.
