Is the 25k not supposed to be your net? I thought Bolt only shows net price now. So you wouldn't know what the gross is until you end the ride.

Good morning my brothers.

Please is there another link that shows the snapshot of a vehicle plate number of a vehicle, claimed to be caught on camera?

The pay vis site is just showing the fine, not showing the evidence with snapshot.

I want to see the evidence please and I would appreciate it if someone could help out with that.

Thanks.

Bolt and Indrive are just testing drivers breaking point trying to find out how low they can go before we say "enough is enough".
How can fares drop to pre-covid era and u guys are still rushing the trips.
I am seeing 3k Berger to GRA
4k GRA to Lagos Island and 5k to VI.
This is unbelievable. When I think it cannot be lower, d next week they reduce it further and drivers are still diving the trips.
What is happening? am I missing something??

You’re not missing anything. It’s the drivers that keep accepting these ridiculous fares that are enabling them. Funny stuff is, majority in these riders are stupidly entitled.

I rather drive empty than to pick someone with ridiculous fares. If you pick, you have encouraged the rider that cheaper fares are possible and the next time he or she orders, they will always go to the cheapest option.

I did a rider one strong thing. She requested on Indrive to Chevron Drive from Surulere for ₦6,000. I picked and told her to wait oo, that I’m coming, while I was just parked doing something else, with the intention of wasting her time. After so much call, I texted her to not to be angry, that I’m still on my way. She called and called. I didn’t pick and I texted her again, this time letting her know how terrible she was by setting that fare, I also told her anyone who picks her request will also delay it till she puts the right amount.

I cancelled the ride only for time to see her increase the fare by ₦2,000. I didn’t pick, just laughed. Someone else picked. I felt so good doing it, and I still do it til today.

PS: she responds by calling me a madman, and threatened to report me. I told her I reported her already. Make she go ahead.

Honestly I really don't understand y folks don't utilise Uber app. I really respect that app. Any driver that uses them will never regret. I tell you something, if I drive 100km on Uber and someone else does same on another ehailing platform.....I will makr more profits with my 100km on uber than you doing same 100km on another platform.

But u really can't blame the riders
It's the app coys that allow such a fare on that distance. Secondly, u must blame the drivers who keep picking these ridiculous fares. Cos even if the app coy allows low fares, if drivers can boycott the app for a few days, they will get the message.

Everybody will price what they want to buy in the market to get the best prices and if they can get it free of charge sef, they wouldn't mind. But I have never seen a seller who sells his goods consistently on a loss. So I am wondering whether these drivers are getting free fuel abi is everyone now using CNG and I have been left behind?

Good evening Gentlemen, Ladies, investors, partners and all Uber drivers.

Please, I have a very serious challenge with my Oga (partner), this my Oga seems to be a military man, though I don't know his rank and I have never seen him on any uniform. But I was told he's a military man. And he uses soldier to retrieve the car or to relate to me. I have been on this HP deal since last year August.

I will narrate the problem as it happened.

The total package for this deal is N8,000,000 and the agreement stated I must pay N80,000 every Monday.

Now, on the agreement. The time for payment is not specified like maybe Monday morning, afternoon or evening.

So since last year August I have been on this deal till mid May when the car was tracked, shutdown and retrieved.

After pleading and begging, I was made to pay a week upfront before I was given back the car. The car was impounded for a week without me working and I still paid for that week.

Ever since that incident, I have ensured that the Monday payment get to my partner on or before 11pm or at worst pass 11pm.

But it has never exceeded Monday. I have all receipts.

On Tuesday evening around pass 4pm. I was called to bring the car for inspection the following day yesterday.

This inspection is not stated or mentioned anywhere in the agreement and I have never been called for inspection since last year August I collected the car, they never call me for any inspection until this week.

But I could not go there because I had to do an emergency repair on the engine where I spent over 100k.

So today been Thursday I took the car for inspection and the key was seized from me.

I'm not owing the man and I have spent lots of borrowed money on the car, the money I borrowed to fix the car I have not paid back.

What can you guys advice me to do in this situation.

Why is the man bent on retrieving the car despite the fact that I don't owe him.

How can I go about this.

I really need expert advice.

Uber that has the lowest fares with highest commission? Abeggi.

Not to mention they'll give you trips that pickup location is 20 mins away.

Do u have a signed agreement with him?
And u aren't owing him.
Which one is u are told? Is his name not written in the agreement?
If he leaves in the baracks, carry ur agreement and visit the Provost master or Military Police and make ur case.
If he isn't in d military go to d nearest police station and ask to see the DPO. Explain urself, they will take it up from there.

If u have defaulted, and ur contract states that he can retrieve the car when u are in default (without conditions or allowance) then u can only pray and look for people to beg him for u.

Your signed Agreement is ur bible in this matter, everything starts and ends with that piece of document.
From ur story it seems like u know u have defaulted and u are at his mercy. cos if u aren't owing him and u have a signed agreement, then he can't collect the car from u even if he wanted to. Worse case he will refund u ur money .

This was my experience today. A rider booked on Indrive and put 2300. I was curious to know if the it is the app that suggests these ridiculous prices or the riders reduce it by themselves.

I switched to the rider mode and the app price suggestion was loading forever, so I manually inputted 1200 naira for the same trip I find ridiculous at 2300 and a driver accepted it at that rate.

The truth is, there's no justification for accepting some certain fair amount. Drivers that do that are low lifers and people that are very docile and complacent in life. 20k per day net and 10k per day savings is enough for them.

One was arguing with me on Facebook that netting 20k per day equals 600k per month and is more than enough, as if anybody can work for 30 days.

I work only 4 days in a week and I must net minimum of 40k, otherwise, there's no need for me to come out.

I have a signed agreement.
I'm not owing him any dime. The last payment was done Monday night pass 11pm.
I can provide receipts for everything I said here.

The agreement carries his company name and the car papers bear Chief Barrister, I don't want to mention his name here for privacy purposes.

The reason I said I was told is because, when he retrieve the car in May due to delayed payment, he uses a soldier and the tracker guy to retrieve the car.

But after that incident, I have never defaulted again and he has been getting his money every Monday.

The agreement states that if I default in 3 consecutive weeks, he can retrieve the car.

And I have never defaulted for a full week in the past one year I have been on the deal.

I will upload the agreement now.
