Very harmless creature that eats rodents...these are farm friendly

We have been killing small snakes on my enclosed 14 acre farm at Ibadan past few weeks, then this long one this morning. What specie of snake is this? Is it dangerous? Should we be worried?

Just keep watching Nat'Geo wide you'll get everything there including the venom and where the snake comes from to Ibadan farm, Nigeria. 🤪

This snake is non-venomous. Probably a rat snake. Harmless creature.

It's not all the snakes you should kill in your farm, practically you shouldn't kill any snake you see on your farm, the reason is that they keep rodents like bush rats, grass cutters and crop destroying rodents. The exception is if the snake is a venomous one which is aggressive, these type of snake would hiss at you from a distance in a coiled position, trying to claim its territory.
Otherwise the snake you see on you farm is just passing by. Take caution to protect yourself by wearing a boot.
