![]() African leaders will never disappoint you. Imagine from saying they'll quickly return to democratic rule to mandating himself to rule as head of state every five years?! This is pure greed and this erodes any good thing he has done in Mali. He has eventually become the very thing he was fighting against. |

fredoooooo:Keep blaming white people for all your problems 60 years later! The tyrant claimed France was the problem and told them to leave, his fellow mumu countrymen and fans listened and agreed....now see what he is doing. Black man remains the only race that loves deceiving itself. |

This is not an African mentality but a wealth and power mentality. He has seen more money and power, so he wills it as he wants. Besides, the lawmakers approved it because they have received their cuts. Do you think a particular president in West Africa would not have done the same if the scenarios were to be similar? |

BlackViper:it's the same reason I don't buy what many people are saying about Ibrahim taurores wonderful leadership. I feel it's simply propaganda. It's rare to see African military dictator return to civilian power once they clench it, they tend to hold it on for decades. Hopefully this one develops his country and hands over power to civilian rule. |

All this people in Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Guinea and Gabon celebrating military coup are in for a long thing, forget about removing those guys from power. Congratulations you now have officially presidents for life, and nothing like choosing your leaders again. Lol you believe the we will return to democracy lamba, the one in Gabon is not even pretending he just took of his uniform and conducted a sham election and he is now officially president for life. |

He did the right thing if he hands over power now to democracy. They will bring back France and then sentenced him for treason. As long as he does well he should remain in office. Military rule is not different from monarch system of government. If he is doing well he should stay |

This is terribly horrid!!! But what is the difference between this and "internet glitch"making one a president of a country for 4 years renewable for another 4 years under the same electoral laws that accommodate SYSTEM GLITCH. in Mali the dirty job of validating state capture was done by the puppet legislative council in Nigeria it is the (I)NEC that validates while the judiciary ratifies. Whether it is the Military (the LIONS) or the Civilians (the FOXES) the goal is the same |
