I am not sending him, since you people cannot spend 15 trillion to build effective health care system for your people. Even the Great Nelson Mandela got his treatment in South Africa. Anyway get well, it's not good to open the book of lamentations on a sick person.

That's what friends do
They watch out for one another irrespective of circumstances.
Nice one Emilokan.

leave talk. No be everything be desperation. If tinubu didn't send anyone same you guys will accused him of betrayal. Now that he sent someone you are calling it desperation.

And what to do mean by the wrath of the north? The highest thing that will happen to tinubu in 2027 is losing an election which I don't see it even happening.
Aminda is an Igbo boy who MUST worship Northern Masters daily. Na quota for the guy grin

Imagine after spending 8yrs as president, you didn't build any good hospital were you will receive treatment in your own country. You still have to go to oyinbo land for treatment. This is embarrassing.

Same old story! They always think it is the masses that their deliberate ideologies of negativity would affect.

I'm sure there must be a line item for presidential and ex-president medical tourism in the budget or who's funding the treatment of these men undecided undecided undecided undecided

Lol!

Tinubu sent Shettima out of the country to prevent him from saying another thing.

Shettima called his bluff by telling the world that the president does not have the power to remove even an elected councilor, obviously referring to what Tinubu did in Rivers.

Now the media is milking that statement and I’m sure Tinubu corns don’t know how to react.

Shettima is part of the coalition 🤓
It's very amusingc seeing you guys who are not relevant in the scheme of things sit down behind your keyboards and speculate based off of limited understanding. Shettima was in London and has been back to the country on Monday. Meanwhile, he was speaking at a book launch in mid-week. The VP attended a book launch where he spoke recently after he arrived at the country from London. All these speculations and fabrications haven't stopped you guys from ending up on the losing side every election cycle, this time again won't be an exception.

-Kiss the truth!

Were you present when Tinubu quickly leaked it?

How do you know that Tinubu "sensed that he was outdone"?
It's literally there in the article. Shettima went on a private visit. How did an internal communication from a President to his Vice which he intended not to make "public" find its way to the media space?

You have heard about it, I have heard and also millions on Nairaland have heard it. Haven't it been made public already.

it's not always about hospital.

The doctors handling his health ven before becoming president are in London.

It's not an excuse for them not to build proper hospitals though, but just telling.

He wont recover. He will die this one out. The enemies of nigeria will all die. This includes gowon. I guess the blood of the souls he murdered in the name of a nigerian unity, which we still dont have anyway, is haunting him, that is why he keeps talking about the war and looking for justifications for murdering a whole lot of folks that period...

Shettima went privately on his own accord but Tinubu is smartly trying to take the glory. There is no love lost between them now. Time for pretenses is over.

Tinubu trying desperately to milk Buhari’s support base after spending the past years demonising him and sidelining all his allies from the CPC bloc. Same way he went to Katsina and dishonestly said he was missing Buhari. Not even having Buhari as a Vice will save Tinubu from the wrath of the North.

even if he built... Government owned infrastructure can't maintain. That's how it is in Nigeria even though it's wrong. Check any government facility and compare with private

"A reliable source told THISDAY that as soon as Tinubu received information that Buhari had been admitted to the London hospital, the President, who was scheduled to travel to St. Lucia, called the Vice President, directing him to proceed to London to check on the former President and report back to him."

"It was unclear why the visit was kept a secret, but when contacted about whether the visit took place and, if it did, why it was not made public, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President), Stanley Nkwocha, confirmed that Shettima was in London, but said he could not confirm if he visited the two Nigerian leaders.

He insisted that the visit was a totally private one, explaining that he wasn’t privy to his boss’ itinerary to England’s capital. However, he stated that although he wasn’t sure whether the Vice President visited anybody, he was aware that he (Shettima) returned to Nigeria from London last Monday."

Sometimes you need to take a bond decision for the growth and development of the Nation. Some Elites don't want the have not to access the free resources of this Nation.

What does it cost any administration to build a good and well equipped hospital in the state level and properly fund and maintained.

They can never build and equip a good hospital in this country instead they always want to run outside the country for good health care. Imagine someone that was president for good 8 years, couldn't find any hospital that could treat him in same country. Lmao 😀 🤭 🤣 😀 🤭
And to imagine that people still take them seriously enough to want to fight and destroy themselves over these crop of thieves and brainless leaders. I guess their supporters are all the same just like them.

After 8 years as a Country's president, he can't still boast of a single world class hospital.

What a BIG SHAME. Two former leaders of Africa's giant country receiving treatment in London at the same time. India boosted it's health sector and was the world's medical centre for so many years.
However, I wish both of them good health and speedy recovery.
I hope the current leaders learn and change for the better.
Our best medical hands are all over the world practicing.
Let's have a world standard health facility in each geographical zone for a start.
And ban all this overseas medical trip at tax payers expenses.
What type of shame will it now be if the treatment was received in Benin Republic or Togo or Zimbabwe.
