They didn't play to impress me at all. No passion for the game. Gone are the days of Perpetual Nwokocha and Mercy Akide. I am not sure we can have players like them. I don't know why the coach did not feature Sakirat Moshood.

My problem is on the technical ability of this team to beat their opponent. The coaching staff should think

Disappointing display so far

Pray tell me what the score line was against Botswana. They barely scraped through.
I don't think they are serious about winning this competition at all.

This team cannot win the competition. They struggled to play against the lowest ranked team - Botswana - today.

This coach has nothing to offer. He seems bereaved of ideas.

They payed nonsense..no urgency

Just kick and follow

Omo South Africa will tear them off they don't get their act right

They played a very rough, defensive minded and whose goalkeeper is very good. Besides, the Botswanans were playing for a draw.

Even the best teams around have bad days at the office, what matters is squeezing out the 3 ponits.

These girls are nothing but content creators, they wear tights showing off their laps and butts then post on their social media handles.

Poor passes, terrible set pieces, couldn't even trap ball against the lowest ranked team, and they want to win WAFCON? Tell me what they are smoking. Ajibade was the worst culprit. Only shinning light was Plumptre

NFA should appeal against the yellow card to Deborah Abiodun which was undeserved. She was fouled and not the other way round. If not that yellow rules her out of the next match

The Super Falcons have still not improved in their directionless, anywhere belle face, purposeless, kick and follow, type of game. Imagine them struggling against Botswana, the lowest ranked team in the competition.

I pray we don't meet the South African team early in the competition cos that will definitely be our last game of the tournament

Nigerians just enjoy talking down doom all the time. They have forgotten how to stay positive.

6 full points so far and you call it disappointing?

What is disappointing? That Women's football in Africa is finally gaining momentum and development?

Today's WAFCON results FT'
Tunisia🇹🇳 0-0 Algeria 🇩🇿
Botswana🇧🇼 0-1 Nigeria 🇳🇬

The Super Falcons of Nigeria officially become the first team to advance to the next stage of the 2024 WAFCON.

ROAD TO NUMBER 10 :

With tonight's win, the Super Falcons of Nigeria have successfully secured their quarter final ticket after recording a 1-0 win over EXTREMELY poor Botswana.

Yes, that wasn't a nice and befitting outings for the Super Falcons of Nigeria,

But Glory be to God that we were able to do the needful which is to grind the needed results to match to the next round of the competition.

Thanks to the super sub Chinwendu Ihezuo who came on from the bench to made the difference by scoring the only falcons goal to shoot us to the next round of the competition.

Above all, the team needs to learn more coordination and stop playing scantily.

Congratulations and all the best to us.

The performance yesterday was so shambolic and pathetic. No good passes, just kick and follow like headless roaster. Supposed giant of Africa women football not impressive to watch because they dedicate all their training time to be taking selfie and making long hair. Imagine, no single shot on goal for first half of the game. Rivers angels or Edo queens can do far more better than this overfeed slay queens.

no mind them. For them to look for ways to up their game they will rather spend time doing praise n worship during training.

it is not about the one goal. It is about the technicality of play. Their passes, their ball control etc. How accurate are their shots on goal?

oga it's not about the point. I love female football so much. I love super falcons. But the issue now is they are not playing well. If u know good football, u will agree with me. Africa gaining momentum in women's football? Well in a way that's true. But then if other teams are improving are the super falcons supposed to remain static n wait for others to meet them? Are they not supposed to improve too??

While the technical know-how of their coach is suspect, we can still both agree that all the faults you mentioned were positively in play in the build-up to the goal.
