Literacy level is very low. Ideally, only about 20 percent of the current electorates should be deemed qualified to vote. Political enlightenment is at an almost zero level.

As a youth corper I worked at a polling unit in the North during the 2011 general elections. Bro, more than half of the voters didn't know who or what party they were voting for. Someone would stand by them telling them where to thumbprint. This is also true in some parts, especially rural areas in the South.

Our civil societies are useless! They are yet to justify the free funds they receive from foreign organizations aimed to support continuous voter education. Go to some polling units on election day and interview some voters. You will be shocked that many of them don't even know who the candidates are, nor their stance on critical issues.

Ghana and South Africa seem to do better when it comes to voter enlightenment.

Lols... I’m a fan of Peter Obi but honestly, am so disappointed. It’s all fake!I’m from Ekiti State so you see that Fayose you mentioned was truly loved. Fayose was so blunt so to me, it was not a game to deceive voters. Fayose can blast anybody in his/her presence either before or after election. Na street man normal normal but now nko, people don hate am.

I can never hate Fayose. He remains one of my all time favourite governor cuz he is bold and fearless.

Nigerians are tired of the APC government and their fake promises for providing good life for Nigerians in which Nigerians are lavishing in poverty, hunger, hardship, inflation, high costs of living.. so Nigerians will not like to continue like this till 2031 with this Tinubu government..so they need an alternative which is peter obi that will address and tackle all this poverty, hunger, hardship, inflation, high costs of living, high rate of unemployment, insecurity Nigerians are going through and provide a better life and better standard of living for Nigerians
