Selling gadgets is lucrative too. Try getting a sure plug in the computer village in your state, take pictures of his gadgets, upload online and everywhere you can, sell and make your gain. Save up your profits plus the 1m you have now, then when it amounts to something, you can start ordering in too and sell directly to your customers.

To be sincere, 1m can only start you a POS business. No lucrative business in present Nigeria can be up and running with 1m naira.
My advice, use that 1m and eat/take care of yourself, while you work on adding additional 1m to it by continuing doing that thing you did that gave you that former 1m.
And btw, do not partner with anybody here for business.

1million will not be enough to start up any reasonable cash flowing business in Nigeria today.

Try pos, or look for any small business and start. But op, in all you do, do not rent a shop oooo because you'll cry had I know. 1 million is way too small for that

That is an insult to those whe earn or make less than 200 k a month, which is about 30 percent of the working population of this country.

What they should be asking you is your expected ROI, location and skill set.
Also do you have something else feeding you, are you single.

Consider butchering.
Selling of fruits
Waste collection and recycling
And many more

Business on-top 1 millions. Just de play.

If you don’t have other money, like other sources of income to be supporting be supporting the business and growing it you better enter food business. Go to market and look for a space. Enter one field of business like grains or yam and potato. Don’t mixed it. Just stay with a particular niche.

If it’s skill job. Saloon or car wash. Or seasonal farming like cucumber, plantain, yam or potato

1M is approximately 650 dollars. I doubt it can be able to start a reasonable business. APC has killed Nigeria economy. How I wish they can revert it back to where they met it.

There is one guy who started making and selling of okpa in Abuja, he said he started with 5k and want to grow the capital to 5M. He normally update his progress on TikTok. I will advice you look into daily food consumption like that

I think if you consider garri business you will not go wrong. Garri is something that moves in a whole of Nigeria.

Now let me break it down a little for you because you might think it's a hectic process involving much land space, planting and all that but I'm giving you the real deal. All you need is to locate villages where they farm lots of cassava then you negotiate to buy large quality at lower price. You will then take them to local factories were they will process them for you into bags of garri which you can now sell to different states. Trust me your profit will be like oil well pumping non stop.
